Harry Caray's Tavern - Navy PierPresentationThe presentation of the calamari, the pizza and the turkey club sandwich was good - on the other hand the meatloaf dinner was not. The Mac n Cheese was not separated from the corn and the onions were on top of it all - the meatloaf was bland and the sauce was a bit too spicy to make the difference and it was on the cool side. I would not order this again.
I will definitely try the pizza as it looked superb and I understand the sandwich was great.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMDeliciousFun time, food was delicious, always a big hit when we have a fabulous server.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMgood serviceOur waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I was expecting the same menu as the Harry Caray's in River North, but this one was more limited on options. However, the food was still very good!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers DayWe brought our Mom there for mother day and it was a perfect choice. The food was excellent as well as the waitress. Friendly happy people all around you. It was busy but there was enough room around you that you did not feel squished. The food was priced just right as well. I felt the price matched the item....5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat location and great foodEnjoyed our experience. But, they really need to provide better info regarding their valet parking (especially for those not familiar with the area). We paid $25 to park believing we would have our stub validated - but we had been guided into the wrong lot entrance by a parking attendant - same lot, just wrong entrance for "validation "5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMHarry Caray's Hey Hey!Didn't feel like a tourist trap as other restaurants at Navy Pier. The crusted halibut sandwich and calamari are outstanding! Meals were well portioned and service impeccable. Save time to look at the memorabilia.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMgo for the "museum" not the foodaverage food. I had the French onion soup which was VERY SALTY! We felt rushed to order. The surroundings are what makes this establishment worth visiting. Fun to view all of the sports collector items. Can spend at least an hour looking at all of the pictures and baseballs etc. But if you're there to relax with a drink before dinner the kitchen closes at 8pm. This is inconvenient for late night diners. I was NOT advised this when I had a 7:30 reservation. Additionally, the winter menu is different than the one online. Much smaller. Nice and comfortable environment but no great dining. It is a good place on Navy Pier to take visitors to Chicago due to the Harry theme, but other than that I would not be racing there to have dinner.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good; portionFood was very good; portion nicely sized for a meal - not too little, not too much3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
