The third Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse outpost opened in Lombard located in the new Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. Harry Caray's Lombard brings the same friendly confines and award-winning Italian Steakhouse cuisine from the legendary downtown location to Chicago's Western Suburbs. Designated the Official Home Plate of the Chicago Cubs, Harry Caray's specializes in the finest prime, aged steaks and chops and classic Italian cuisine. We ordered a Caeser salad that they split up for us to share. Never had done that before but it was great, just the right amount for each of us. Would definitely go back there again"

My wife and I both enjoyed the food and service was excellent. The only downfall was a table of 2 adults and 5 young kids who were noisy, but all in all it was not a terrible issue."

  • "We celebrated my husband's birthday with our family of seven. Three of them have never been to Harry Caray's and they loved it. The meal and service was great. We weren't rushed and were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our server, Anthony, was wonderful and fun. My husband really enjoyed his surprise dinner with the family and is still talking about how wonderful it was and it was the perfect place, since we had not been there in a while. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, appetizers and meals. We had a great time."

  • "It was our first visit. We had asked for a table in a quiet area online because we have a hearing impaired person in our group. Even with a reminder to the hostess when we arrived (@ 5:30, so not crowded) our request was ignored. By the end of the meal, it was so noisy we couldn't converse. Saul, our server, was GREAT Foodwise:! My prime rib was rare instead of med. rare. The sides were good, as was the key lime pie, and the portions were generous. We had hoped for a more formal experience as we had seen pics online of white tablecloths, etc. but it seemed to be casual attire and noisy. Since it is not inexpensive, our expectations were higher than our experience."

I would request him again. Calamari was the best we have ever eaten. My only disappointment was. The prime rib it was a little tuff but overall outstanding food and service,"

  • "All the people involved with the restaurant were wonderful. Our server was great. But unfortunately the food was simply OK. For the prices I would have expected much higher quality. For a Saturday night they were not terribly crowded and most of the people in the resturant seemed to be from the Westin Hotel next door. I was surprised to see the number of children there for that late in the evening on a Saturday. My husband had never been to Harry Caray's downtown so I was pretty disappointed except for the service."

  • "We went to dinner Saturday. There were 4 of us. Our server, Tim, was great. He explained the menu and specials. My son ordered the Ribeye. He wanted rare, very rare. I think they call it blue. His steak came out medium. We sent it back, and it came out rare just they way he likes it. The manager came and checked to make sure all was OK. They even gave his drinks, "on the house." Great dining experience. Will go back."

  • "My server was good but I was not happy with the presentation of my grass fed Bill Curtis steak. I has mushrooms on the side and I like mine well sautéed, it was not. I'm a desert lover and my apple tart was a bit of a disappointment . The crust was too hard to cut and the pieces of apple did not gel together but fell apart. Unfortunately my experience was not very good, especially for the price."

The grassfed beef strip steak I had was good, though not worth the money in my opinion. The prime rib my wife had was excellent. The calamari served here is probably the best i have ever eaten and it was a huge portion. I would recommend ordering this. The waitstaff was excellent and very attentive. Overall the experience was fun, but nowhere worth the money we spent."

  • "We ate at Harry Caray's because while they offered a special holiday menu, they still allowed ordering off the main menu which many restaurants do not offer on New Year's Eve. We tried the filet and the dry aged NY strip - both were cooked perfectly and quite good. The service was wonderful - they seated us in the Wine Room with just a handful of tables so it was quiet and romantic. Our server recommended a Pinot to accompany our steaks, and it was a perfect match. We would certainly return - we want to try out the Burger Bar."

We enjoyed our meal and rate it as good only because of experiences at the Clubhouse and Ditka's. This may be unfair because we didn't try the Italian specialties."

  • "If a restaurant is open on a holiday, Christmas, it should be staffed accordingly. We have high expectations for dining at Harry Caray's. First the host tried to seat us in a room the size of a closet. After being seated at another table and served drinks everything went downhill. We waited a long time for our entrees. When the entrees arrived, they were left table-side and abandoned, unserved. We set the timer on the cell phone and after 2 minutes we began plating the table ourselves. Good place to eat but not on a holiday."

They were late seating us and we had to practically beg borrow and steal for our first drink order and basket of bread. That being said - the food remains very good and it has a great atmosphere. We will be back but obviously the secret is out that they are open on Christmas Day."

  • "Harry Caray's in Lombard was a disaster zone on Christmas Day, and the management knows it. From the disinterested greeting at the door to the lengthy disappearance of our credit card, our Christmas dinner 2013 was devoid of any holiday cheer. Our food and drink orders were wrong, dinner came before we finished our salads, wrong prices were charged. Both staff and management were inefficient and clearly over their heads. Their many errors were never rectified. When we complained to a manager, he sympathized and admitted they were inefficient but made no peace offering. We have spent Christmas dinner at nearby McCormick & Schmick's and at Glen Prairie, both of which provided magnificent holiday experiences. Go there instead."

  • "This was Christmas day- 6pm. First we were given a wobbly table near food service entrance. we asked to be moved. we were. Waiter lolligagged, then finally came over. When my 17 teen year old asked for simple spaggetti and maranara, he reacted as though we asked for an internal organ. once off his cue card he was clueless. pasta dished took a while, and he later overfilled coffee spilling it on the floor near my coat.. not as good as downtown HC.most italian style places, like Rosebud are more creative and flexible."

  • "Would and already have recommended to others. A little pricey but for a special occassion well worth the cost. I had the lamb chops and they were some of the best. My husband and friends noted the food was excellent, (prime rib, fillet and pork chops). Two of us ordered soup or a salad and all ordered at lease one side. Did not order dessert, we were full. In addition to the good food we had excellent service from our waiter. Enjoyed!"
