  • "Food was sooooo good. Nice view and convenient location for tourists. Awesome free sports museum with meal kept me entertained too."

  • "Our first time in Chicago, my husband wanted to eat at a Harry Caray's. We picked this one. We were seated quickly, service was great, the food was fantastic (veggie sandwich on ciabatta, turkey burger, sweet potato fries, veggie medley, all yummy!), ambience quiet and decked out with sports memorabilia. Overall a great experience, would do it again in a heartbeat. Although we had a window table, the view was not much, but we weren't there for the view, so no stars off."

  • "Went there mostly for the Sports Museum. We had four different burgers and everyone was happy with their meals. Service was great and fast. Free museum entry was fun for the family. It's not very big but entertaining for an hour or so."

  • "My bf and I went here for our anniversary. Cassandra was our server and was an absolute joy. Our food and drinks were fabulous, and the museum was a great addition! Thank you Cassandra!"

  • "We had not been to Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch in Water Tower Place before. W were there this time on a Sunday at 11:00 AM, when traffic was very light. We were very pleased how great our server, Billy, was with our granddaughters, ages 7 and 9. He made the whole meal a lot more fun in a place that I assumed would pretty much cater to adults. Food was very good, and the view from the 7th floor was excellent as well - at least it would be, on a day when the could deck wasn't at 500 feet! I would guess that it gets very busy in the evenings and on weekdays for lunch. A plus is the Chicago Sports Museum, which is located next to the restaurant, and all the photos of celebrities who have dined at one of the Harry Caray's restaurants."

  • "I went with my Grandma and we made reservations because I heard online that sometimes you need one during thew lunch rush. We got there at 11:30, as soon as it opened, so we really didn't need a reservation. Good food. Great waiter, I believe his name was Stephen, very helpful. Nice touch with the Harry Caray pick in the burger. I am looking forward to coming again next year. Also, I was surprised when the elevator played Take Me Out to the Ball Game. Before going, Grandma and I thought that wouldn't happen because, no offense, but Harry's voice isn't exactly Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby. Very pleased overall. Museum admission free was good too, so much memorabelia everywhere."

  • "We made this reservation as it was close to our hotel. The restaurant was fun and had lots of great and interesting things for the boys to look at. Menu was extensive with lots of great items. The steak I had was relatively inexpensive and very tasty. The waiter was wonderful. He chatted with the table and explained food items and made suggestions. Overall a great experience for dining."

  • "The food was great and the view was excellent. it's right next to a small sport museum that you get free entrance to with your receipt from the restaurant. A great stop for us on our visit to Chicago."

  • "We took our son for his 15th birthday. Food and service were wonderful. My only question is why do you ask for a guest's special needs if they are ignored by the restaurant? When making our reservation, we stated that we were celebrating our son's 15th birthday. While dining, several special events were acknowledged by staff -- mostly birthdays. Because we had let the restaurant know when we made the reservation about our celebration, my husband and I waited so that our son's birthday would be acknowledged -- nothing. All in all we had a great time, we were just disappointed for our son. Don't ask for special requests if they're going to be ignored."

  • "We had the Italian Short Rib sandwich. Delicious!!! Very tender beef. Served open faced and you must eat it with a knife and fork. Portions on many items are large enough to share. Service was excellent- friendly and professional. We went to the Sport Museum as well. It was very interactive and definitely fun for the entire family. I highly recommend the museum as well."

  • "Server was nice but she forgot the chicken on the nachos, salad dressing, and at the end left the itemized tab. Maybe she was new? Anyhow nachos were ok and pizza not so good. I would say the burgers may be the best best here. Complimentary Museum access is a plus otherwise again I'll have to say Portillos is a cheaper option."

  • "Our family of sixteen, which included 6 children, was visiting from St Louis for a Cards/Cubs game. We needed a place for dinner the night before the game walking distance from our hotel and this was perfect. Had a great time and would recommend it for a casual meal."

  • "Our waiter, Billy made lunch a charming event. He was busy but did not make us feel like an intrusion. Delighted our Grandson Made for a memorable day with my grandson."

  • "We kept adding people to our group, and the staff was excellent with all of our changes. The staff did an outstanding job of serving us, letting us know if the food was going to be a little longer being served, checking to see how we were doing, and making sure our experience was a pleasant one. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a group, as they were not phased in the least when we asked for separate checks at the beginning of our meal. They did a super job of hosting us. Food was good. Service was outstanding. Thanks to all who made our evening a very pleasant experience."

  • "The waitress talked way to much. I don't want to hear a story. I just want to look at the menu. She was snippy too. My husband asked her if she knew where the washroom was. She said of course I do, I work her. Really snotty. I ordered a burger. I forgot to ask the waitress to cut the burger in half when I placed the order. When she brought it to the table I asked if she could ask the chef to cut the burger. She said the chef does not cut the burgers. I said even if a customer requested it? UNREAL! I am a paying customer. It would be nice to get better service."

  • "I made reservations and was phoned three times - twice to confirm and another time to ask why I didn't keep the reservation -- they had me down for 12:30 and the reservation was confirmed (twice) for 1:30 ! Then I asked for a nice table with a view of the city and we were shoved in the back of the restaurant - as far away from the view as you could possibly get. I saw people without reservations being escorted past us to the windows like we didn't exist. The sports museum was ok - half the interactive exhibits were being serviced and we stayed 20 minutes. However, the food was good - turkey burger was excellent and the truffle fries are great!"

  • "Wonderful experience! Delicious food! Service was a little slow. Our waters never got refilled, and we kept asking and our server kept forgetting. It took a while for our check to come to. We had to ask the manager for it. She was really busy though."

  • "Disappointing. You have to get through 7 floors of the mall to find average bar food and kitsch. Lots of TVs, though, if all you want is to have a beer, escape shopping and catch the top of the inning. We were expecting a higher level of restaurant."

  • "Besides getting good food, eating at Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch gets you into the attached Sports Museum for free. The museum is informative and fun, well worth putting on your list of things to do in Chicago."

  • "Food o.k. Service slow in a non crowded restaurant"

  • "I wanted the experience to be so much better than it was for me and my kids, ages 10 and 8. After waiting 15 minutes, I had to tell the hostess that no one had even acknowledged our table. They weren't busy...only 4-5 other occupied tables. And while the server was good-natured and friendly to my kids, I felt it was a bit overbearing. The food was mediocre and overpriced. And to make matters worse, the "validated" parking only took $10 off a $22 parking bill. I should have known better based on the restaurant's location and the fact that this is the 6th or 7th Harry Caray restaurant. The name will get people in the door but unless the service and food improves, there may not be much repeat business. Stick with the original."

  • "husband & I enjoyed an early dinner over the July 4th weekend..the food was well prepared, tasty, and met the specifications of no butter (use of olive oil)..our waiter provided excellent service..we felt that the prices were satisfactory, considering the ambience and quality of food..we were happy to be seated in a booth..we prefer romaine or butter lettuce over mixed greens but the tomatoes were fine in the salad..if possible, we would like to see cod, halibut, or sea bass offered in the future..or a turkey burger on whole wheat..we visited the Sports Museum, which was quite enjoyable..there were a few interactives that were not working..perhaps these should be checked more frequently and maintained better..the free admission was a perk"

  • "It was a wonderful place to watch the last USA game of the World Cup and service was EXTREMELY GOOD but the food needs an upgrade. The meat ball pizza should be replaced by a good Chicago pizza, add espresso, add a few more non-greasy aps & dishes, and this could a perfect place."

  • "Took my mother there for lunch on a Friday so it wasn't so crowded. She is hard of hearing and uses a wheelchair. This is a large restaurant so wheelchair was not a problem. Our server was very nice. Naturally, it is more for the sports minded person. Great view of the buildings close by. We ate shrimp poor boys with fried pickles. Yum! Looks like it would be great for large and small parties. At the end we took our pictures with the statue of Harry Caray."

  • "Food was mediocre. Typical bar food taste I can get for half the price somewhere else. We ordered the hotdog special that day and for the hotdog and fries it was $13. The salad was greasy and hard to chew. Food took a long time to come out, considering we only ordered salad and hotdog. The place was new and lots of TV. Our waiter was nice though, kept reassuring us that food is coming. Disappointed. Menu looked good but execution is blah..."

  • "Great new restaurant positioned in a great location on the Magnificent Mile. Love the food on offer on the Harry Careys brand of restaurants and when visiting the USA and more specifically Chicago will definitely be eating again at one the locations in this fabulous City."

  • "Convenient location but loud, and too warm inside dining area. Wait person kept bringing seltzer water instead of Sprite (the soda syrup bag needed changing but she couldn't comprehend this even though we told her what the issue was) and took a bit too long while for the food to come out. The food tasted good once we got it though. Bathrooms were for one person only and could have been much nicer."

  • "The food was very good. A different take on some standards. A great menu for guys. Very few people in the restaurant but not a high level of service. Had to point out to server that I was not charged for all of the drinks we ordered."

  • "Alongside the Chicago Sports Museum, 7th Inning Stretch is a great little place. Entry fee to the museum is deducted from your bill, which is an added plus. Burgers were great, and the milkshakes were OUTSTANDING! Reservation planning seemed to be a little "off." We originally wanted to do lunch, then the museum, but we're told they were booked. Earliest reservation I could get was 4:15, so we planned museum first. We arrived at 1:00, and could see the place was nearly empty! We ended up arriving again at 3:30 and they kindly moved our reservation up. Again, restaurant was not busy, but service was pretty slow. But we enjoyed our meal, and would go back!"

  • "Harry Caray's exceeded my expectations. We had a large group and were seated on time, had excellent service, and food and drinks were wonderful. Loved the fried pickles and Mac n cheese muffins. Turkey burger was best I have ever had, juicy and flavorful. The beef sandwich was unique and delishish. The museum was great. The family had a memorable Father's Day."

  • "Food was good, service was great! Our server was vigilant about our granddaughter's nut allergy. It's a great place for everyone. As an added bonus, there is the Chicago Sports Museum which captivates the young and old! Simple but well done!"

  • "The restaurant was great as was the service. However, closing at 8:30 (due to the mall) in a major city on a major street was not very well thought out."
    Dined on 6/12/2014
  • "This is a great restaurant. The chef has done some amazing things. We live across the street and we're concerned that this was going to be a touristy kind of place. Wrong! My wife and I have had six different things and they are all great. Not good but great! Service has been great. We will become a regular here!"

  • "Very very very slow service. The food is just okay. Kids meals are expensive. They asked us if we wanted a cubs or sox hat for our ice cream and didn't tell us there was an extra charge! The only redeeming factor was the free admission to the museum which was pretty fun for the kids. There is no reason to return. Tourist trap. "

  • "I think this would be a great place to watch a game as TV screens are everywhere and the place itself is cool. I had one of the burgers and it was not cooked as I asked and was super greasy so I would recommend skipping the burgers. My mom had a wrap and thought it was good. The menu itself is somewhat limited but it's a nice plus that eating there gets you free admission to the Chicago Sports Museum. "
