  • "Harry Browne's is the a wonderful setting anytime and the food is always great but the brunch is unsurpassed!"

  • "The foo is great and brunch offers a variety of excellent choices. Another important aspect is that the service is always excellent. The decor is elegant without being fussy."

  • "My husband and I were on our way back to DE from DC. We decided to stop off in Annapolis for dinner. I searched the internet and was able to get a 5:30 reservation here. Dinner was great. I really enjoyed my black cod and my husband's steak was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed our martinis and they had a good wine list."

  • "Been to Harry Browne's for dinner before, always great, but never for brunch. Like dinner there, brunch was great. Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Relaxed and not rushed, a perfect start to a Sunday."

  • "Larry our server was terrific. We will definitely return. Bloodys were amazing."

  • "Gourmet food at it's best! The restaurant staff are excellent at making your dining experience there memorable. The restaurant decor is lovely and everything is polished and spotless right down to huge, beautiful mirrors on the walls. Not a streak on them! Cleanliness is a big factor as to whether I return to a restaurant. I will highly recommend Harry Brown's to anyone who will listen!!"

  • "Harry Browne's is an all time favorite. Relatively small and cozy, friendly, slightly formal but decidedly unpretentious and friendly. That staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming and service is exceptional. Then there is the food which is top notch and presented as well as anywhere. I'm a HUGE fan of this restaurant and highly recommend it - definitely one of my top ten restaurants and along the lines of Rules on Maiden Lane in London but smaller and more seafood than game."

  • "We booked Harry Browne's based on Trip Advisor. It had such lovely ambience-a critical aspect of fine dining for us. We had a great waiter who suggested The Spur wine which was wonderful. Our hostess suggested we taste The Whip (white wine complement to The Spur) which she served us as complimentary. A memorable summer evening in Annapolis that couldn't have been more romantic."

  • "My husband and I have found this place is the best place for a champaign brunch in Annapolis!"

  • "A short walk from downtown Annapolis and a warm greeting made this place amazing from the beginning. Great martini's and a fantastic wine list complimented the great dinner entrees of seared scallops and crab crusted filet mignon. I will definitely return very soon."

  • "Beautiful dining room for fine dining, but should also note a more casual bar scene on 2nd floor - take your pick! Recommend reservations for dining room and enjoy!"

  • "The food is extraordinarily overpriced given the quality which is almost to be expected from what is a highly visible picturesque restaurant across the street from America's oldest state capital. The arugula salad with watermelon consisted of older tough arugula and not so ripe watermelon (this is July; watermelon is in season!). The crabcakes were good, but not worth $34 for the two small crabcakes with shriveled overlooked fingerling potatoes. The coconut trace leches cake was quite nice and worth $8. The signature white wine which was ménage of grape varietals and priced at $12 a glass was disgustingly sweet. Jason, my server, provided absolutely superb service yet for $100 with tip for one person, I would've enjoyed fast food better."

  • "A very cute spot in old town Annapolis, directly across from the State Building. Great place to take a stroll after dinner. The folk here are super nice. The lamp lollipops are cooked perfectly, shrimp and grits very good. Homemade ice cream wonderful."

  • "Loved the atmosphere, the nicely inventive menu and the excellent food. Your chef takes smart risks and everything was lovely. I really liked the affordability of the wines by the glass. Your staff is well trained and we will tell anyone interested in Annapolis that Harry Browne's is a must visit."

  • "Had a party of six, with a reservation for 6 pm. Arrived on time and ordered entrees a little before 6:30 pm. Didn't get entrees served until 7:10 pm and had to rush to get to our 8 pm show at the Ram's Head Tavern."

  • "Service was excellent. Our group was not in a hurry and they let us proceed at our own pace. Food was very good, dishes were well presented and interesting. Crab cakes and scallops were very enjoyable."

  • "We were recommended Harry Browne's by a regular visitor to Annapolis and found it just wonderful. We booked a table but at 8pm the restaurant was not all that full, which was fine by us. We had a nice quiet table against the wall. We started with appetizers - calamari and lamb lollipops - which were tasty and small enough to whet your appetite. Dinner was rockfish special with cous cous and black cod with roasted gnocchi. We even managed some dessert - although one could not finish hers- that involved their home made ice cream. Wonderful! Jason, our waiter, was just attentive and offered lots of suggestions. He was fun to talk with! Just a wonderful spot to have a quiet dinner."

  • "We went here for a special birthday brunch and I had asked for a window table which I got so was very pleased. However they advertise this as having free glass of Champagne with the meal, it isn't. It is cheap, nasty fizzy wine. The food was good but the waitress rather surly and tried to give us our bill long before we were ready for it. They charged extra for coffee which I thought was a bit mean as we were paying $21.95 each anyway. The most friendly person was the guy who made the excellent omelettes."

  • "We found this restaurant thru AAA -3 star -highest rating in Annapolis. What a pleasant surprise ! We were in Annapolis for two days-one day we had lunch inside the other day outside. Both were terrific. We highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "Recommend Valet Parking for $5, located on busy State Circle in Annapolis where parking can be difficult. Bar upstairs, restaurant downstairs- which reduces noise level dramatically as compared to other restaurants where the bar and dining room are side by side. We've a 3 year old, no kids menu but with restaurants such as this, they will accommodate. Decent top shelf available, food is very good. Waiter was knowledgeable, professional with the rare occasion of touching you on the back of your shoulder. (a friendly gesture but may offend some who don't like "touchy feely" servers. Establishment is better than most in the area. If I had to produce a criticism, it's that it lacks a view...otherwise very good dining experience."

  • "Harry Browne's staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests. They serve the best crabcakes in Maryland. We always enjoy our time at Harry Browne. It's not only a great place for food. It's atmosphere makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the company of your dining companions. "

  • "There were 4 of us for Mother's Day brunch. Brunch included a glass of wine, mimosa, or non alcoholic beverage but strangely didn't include coffee which I thought was a little lame considering brunch was $30/person. The brunch buffet included: Maryland crab soup, green salad, pasta salad, oysters, spiced shrimp (which were extremely good!), huevos rancheros casserole (the only real dud), bacon, maple sausage, chicken, warm pasta dish, creamed fingerling potatoes, salt baked whole salmon (so moist and delicious), roast beef, profiteroles, mini donuts, fruit, cheese. We all got our fill, for sure. If the weather's nice the outside tables have a sensational view of the capitol."

  • "On this past Saturday, my husband and two of our dear friends joined us for a "pre" Mothers Day Luncheon. We had a very relaxing experience at Harry Brown's and the food was superb! We are never disappointed when we go there. Food and Service outstanding! Even had a pleasant "Hello" from the owner - Rusty! Not a restaurant to miss if you are looking for a "gem" in Annapolis."

  • "Food was delicious! Service was pretty good, but considering what we were paying for the meal, I thought we spent too much time waiting for our server to come back to us. He was nice, but could have been a little more attentive. There were also not many people in the restaurant when we were, so he didn't have many other responsibilities at the time. The food was amazing. We will definitely come back again. "

  • "This used to be a very good restaurant, a great choice for special occasions. Sadly, it no longer is. While our starter butternut squash raviolis were divine, both our main courses were very disappointing. My "strip sirloin" was a mystery cut, was tough and a bit overdone. My husband's fish was also just adequate. I think they have moved to a lower price point for their meals but that has taken a toll on the quality of the food. This is no longer a go-to restaurant."

  • "I had the white chicken coq-au-vin. It consisted of a thigh with 3-4 bites of small potatoes, a few mushrooms and few carrots....in short very little food. It was good, but not great."

  • "We celebrated a birthday party, which I had mentioned on open table note. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter made this a special evening for her! The food was outstanding! This is a quaint cozy restaurant which I'd highly recommend when in Annapolis! (A perk that there is vallet parking available!)"
