"My husband had ordered the Kobe Beef Wayu Beef and he found that it was a little tough. He mentioned that to he waitress and she had said that was the way the beef is usually.
For $75.00 that wasn't well spent as my rib eye at the cost of $49.00 was more tender than the Wayu beef to my surprise. To be fair, the waitress offered to take it back and replace it with another, but like it was mentioned before, she had stated that the Kobe beef is like that."

"The Petite Filet was done to perfection and the Creme Burlee was yummy. Service was very good with a notable wine list. This was our first time here but we will return when we are back in San Francisco. Lovely restaurant very comfortable."

"the food and service were impecciable. however, we did have to wait about 30 minutes even with a reservation, which was the only downfall. but, having a bar in the next room didn't hurt."

"One of the best special occasion restaurants in the city hands down. The food and service couldn't be better. The steaks here are superior, definitely one of the best of my entire life. Harris' will NOT disappoint. Go ahead, treat yourself to one of the best steak dinners that you will have in your entire life. One last thing, if you don't have the "special" Manhattan, you are doing yourself a disservice. It's delicious."

"Perfect venue for a special meal; from the front desk, the bar with jazz band to the dining room, everything was perfect. Staff were freindly and knowledgeable, first class service. Steaks were superb, wine list was vast."

"Harris' is touted as one of the best steakhouses in San Francisco. Given the high expectations, we were a little disappointed with the food. My steak, ordered medium rare, came more as medium. The buttermilk mashed potato, tasty but nothing special. My wife's prime rib rossini (with foie gras) was better, but again overcooked. Ambience was as expected, old school steakhouse with large booths. If you're a big person that is thicker in the waist, its going to be a soemwhat a tight fit because the table is close to the seat. Overall experience is above average but nothing special, especially when you take price into consideration."

"There were four of us, we ordered 1 dozen oysters, 2 Fois Gras, 2 Wedge Salad, 1 Onion Soup, 4 Kobe Steak and a baked Alaska. Oyster was fresh from Columbia, Fois Gras was served on toast, and both were absolutely amazing! Wedge Salad and Onion Soup was average, I would skip next time I go there. Kobe steak was the BEST I ever had, juicy and tender with a little crisp on the top, it was perfect, highly recommended! The baked Alaska was good too, not too sweet, perfect to wrap up a great meal."
