"Don't know if we got them post CIAA tournament and burned out, but overall not a very good experience. Our server insulted our 21 year old son by telling him he looked like he was twelve when he ordered a beer (he has a beard) even after providing ID. Two of our steaks were not cooked to order, even after being put back on the grill and returned to us. The server asks, if I want to see a desert menu when the rest of the group is still in the middle of their meal. When I tell her to come back later, she returns after 5 minutes and asks the same question, when we are still not finished eating (the place is not even busy). Real knucklehead. Manager did his best to fix things, but real frustrating meal. Won't be back anytime soon."

"Server was very indifferent, slow, forgetful and disappeared. Went with family, wife, two kids and mother and server put an automatic tip of 18% on bill at which I instructed manager this was not appropriate due to level of service. It then took 20 minutes to get final bill, had to let family go to car while I waited.

Will most probably avoid going back again given the fine dining locations surrounding."

"We went there on spur of the moment. We were told we wouldn't have to wait the hour wait as OpenTable had given us, but in reality, we did wait. When we checked in, they apparently deleted the OpenTable reservation, which required verification by OT on the back end. Our dining experience was average. Our waitress was either overextended or distracted as she placed my husband's order incorrectly, forgot to bring him a requested item, etc."

"Front desk listed me as a no show which I was not and I was 10 minutes early. The staff was generally disinterested and seemed too busy for us. The entree was good but did not include a vegetable, bread or salad. My husband and I split a 16 oz prime rib dinner and ordered an extra baked potato as that was the only side included. We were charged $5.00 for one potato. Thought prices were out of line with other restaurants. Would probably not return for dinner"

"Food was great. Nice contemporary menu from which to choose. Waiter seemed to be new so service was a bit slow but he made up for it with his personality, i.e. extremely polite and courteous. Hadn't been to Harper's in almost 2 years and was pleased to find it was still the great place that I remembered."

"Harpers does not understand the concept of a reservation. We made a reservation for 7PM, arrived 5 minutes early, and were told we would have to wait. The hostess informed us we would be given the next table. Waited 20 minutes, watched 6 other tables be seated in front of us, and then were seated.
Harpers - you need a new hostess; someone that understands what a reservation means.
