Diner Reviews
  • "I was taken here by a friend for my birthday dinner. She requires gluten-free food and she had lots of items to choose from. I loved my burger and it was prepared exactly as I requested. It is also terrific that they validate parking."

  • "We had lunch at Harman's a couple of weeks ago, and the food and service was excellent. The dinner we had there was not as good. Service was slow. It took 10 minutes just to get water and another ten for a cocktail. It was not crowded. I had the mussels which were way over salted and did not come with the ingredients described in the menu. Another turn off was that the lunch and dinner menu were the same. I suggest limiting your lunch menu--too many choices. Note to chef: taste food first for salt content."

  • "Another fabulous concept by the owner of Town in Carbondale, CO and The Pullman in Glenwood--we've been fans for years. Although we live in Castle Rock, we drive up to the Creek regularly to frequent Harmen's, for the innovative, delicious menu. This time, we took a group of relatives and introduced them to the yumminess. My pork and watermelon salad balanced the sweet and savory just right. I paired the salad with a half-dozen oysters that were excellent (love fresh oysters in Denver!) Others raved about the roasted chicken. I always especially enjoy the fresh, creative cocktails and my son loves the local kombucha on tap. Highly recommended!"

  • "We went to dinner at Harman's with a group of 7; over the course of our meal we ordered three appetizers, 7 entrees, and 2 desserts and by the time we left there was not a single bite left on any plate! Every person loved everything they ordered. The service was good but nothing beyond average."

  • " A group of 6 of us enjoyed Harman's for an early dinner (4:30pm) on Sunday, Aug. 10th, 2014 for a birthday celebration. The food was absolutely delicious-we sampled at least 1/3 of the menu. Without exception, everything was thoughtfully prepared, of proper proportion and extremely flavorful. Particular favorites of the group: celery root tots, homemade chips with blue cheese sauce, trout croquettes (REALLY TASTY), lobster pasta with corn relish, pozole that accompanied the porterhouse pork, and marinated steak with veggies. We also sampled the desserts; chocolate bar with peanut butter smear was definitely the winner there. Service was excellent and we were there early when there weren't many patrons, so the noise level was acceptable."

  • "I first ate at the Pullman in Glenwood Springs in July and was happy to see their sister restaurant in Cherry Creek. Great menu, vegetarian and gluten free options. awesome desserts! Friendly staff. You need to check this place out."

  • "After a visit to the Botanical .gardens was perfect. We were running early so I called and was told we could come in as soon as we could get there When we arrived, we were seated promptly and all fish meals were excellent. My friend is gluten fee and dairy free and the menu is perfect for her."

  • "The food was excellent, service great, etc., but very loud. Not a place for a romantic dinner, we had to yell at a four top."

  • "We have been here several times for dinner and decided to go for Sunday brunch. Everything on the dinner meme is delectable so we knew we could not go wrong. Brunch was equally amazing. We ordered a scone to share along with eggs benedict. Both were amazing but the scone definitely swept me off of my feet. Not to mention the staff is fantastic and personable. Amazing food meets amazing service this place is perfect for any occasion."

  • "Our dinner was really great - very fresh, great taste, creative combinations, many great options to choose from."

  • "We dined on a wednesday night and the restaurant was never more than a third full. I was so loud I couldn't have a conversation with my companion without yelling and constantly saying "what!?" The table was also so dark after the sun went down that we couldn't' read the check to add a tip. Service was lack luster and inattentive, a seemingly nice manager who only wanted to talk about himself came by twice. On the upside the food and speciality cocktails were quite good. We wouldn't return based on the loudness and poor lighting"

  • "We really enjoyed all aspects of our dinner at Harman's. It's difficult to tell you why the food was so good without sounding a bit pretentious, but they really respect their ingredients and every element of our dishes seemed really well designed. We had a great time and left a little sloshed. All for a totally sensible price. Highly recommended."

  • "We had chicken liver pate, chicken and pork shoulder, both of the chicken dishes were some of the best things we ever ate."

  • "My gluten-intolerant friend and I celebrated her birthday with a delicious lunch on the patio. There were so many mouth-watering menu items we couldn't decide what to order; it took us forever to narrow down the choices. I selected the restaurant after calling and inquiring about the quantity of GF options they offered, and my friend was pleasantly surprised with how many GF choices she had; not always the case with every dining establishment. The food was terrific, and every plate that passed our table en route to another looked fetching as well. Our waiter Spencer was wonderful, and I am already planning to take another gluten-intolerant friend here for her birthday soon. I'll definitely request the same waiter."

  • "The food is absolutely incredible !! The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was outstanding! The bar tenders are incredibly knowledgeable and did I mention that the food is amazing ?"

  • "First time dining and wanted to give the restaurant a try. The food would have been wonderful, but all the dishes were over salted. The service was not right on point, it wasn't bad, just not the best. We dined on a weekday early evening. Not the best if you want to have conversation with the noise level."

  • "The 80 degree plus temperature along with very slow service made for a very unpleasant meal. The kitchen takes creativity to a fault. Initially a halibut dish appeared to be very tasty however, by the time I got to the entire plate, I encountered some unusual flavors that, for me were very unpleasant. A vegetarian dish was excellent. Portions are generous. The chef seems to be inclined to overdo what is apparently an effort to be creative."

  • "The food was excellent as was the service. They had an excellent summer Rose wine special that caused us to branch out (and we are happy for it) and their small plate/large plate special for $20 made the price very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend Harman's if you are dining in Cherry Creek."

  • "We had a 5pm Saturday reservation which was perfect, as we had a very nice dinner, only needing to talk a little loudly to hear each other. By the time we finished at 6:30, there were so many people in the restaurant and bar that conversation consisted of leaning in and yelling at each other. The recycled/distressed metal fixtures are a very cool nod to the farm-to-table theme, however, it means that this becomes a very noisy restaurant once the area near the bar starts filling up. Despite the noise, it's well worth a visit, because the food is outstanding. The garnishes on the various dishes are perfect flavor accents that really bring out the depth of the food. It was very easy (and delicious) to dine gluten-free."

  • "I took a friend for her birthday and she is vegetarian. This restaurant had several choices for her - instead of the one roasted vegetables choice. They did not disappoint. The vegetarian dishes were very tasty. I had the chicken. The spices used made it a delicious and wondrous dish. I am still dreaming about it. There are several choices I still want to try. I am glad there are some places in Cherrry Creek that aren't trying to get the most money out of you just because they are in Cherry Creek. I would recommend this restaurant."

  • "I like the food here and Harman's has been growing in popularity I've noticed. The positive-They have a good, solid menu and reasonable prices. The negative-the ambiance! Or lack of ambiance! I really wish the interior was more inviting. It's definitely worth a stop in for me once in a while but unfortunately I regular other cherry creek spots more. I'm still giving it 4 stars bc I think the menu is innovative and perfect fir picky/diet restricted foodies."

  • "I saw mixed reviews about Harmon's, so I hesitated to go here - but SO glad I did! The food was fantastic (loved the Everything Salmon and the pork rinds!), and the service was excellent. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I will definitely come back!"

  • "I like trying new restaurants especially ones that are dedicated to fresh whole foods, herbs and good beer. As much as I do love it I feel like the food is always over priced and could still leave you hungry. I feel this restaurant is no exception...maybe cause its Cherry Creek?? The restaurants decor is nice but the chairs are really hard and when we went it was super hot with no air conditioning. The server was nice but I think he got away with a lot because of his good looks. The food was above average. Taste and quality and selection would bring me back to this place."

  • "Besides the pork rinds that are truly exceptional, I was not impressed with the 8 others dishes we ordered. They were good, but not exceptional and felt short. "

  • "You can be inexpensive, or you can spend a lot depending upon appetizers, dessert and drinks - but regardless - the food is very good and worth whatever you choose to spend. Friendly wait staff. Fun place."

  • "Tried Harman's for the first time on a Friday night. We tire of the trendy Cherry Creek restaurant experience where price and attitude are usually off putting. Not the case here. We were greeted warmly and offered a choice between a window table in the bar or a table in the dining area. We chose the window but found a cold draft hitting the table. The manager immediately and happily turned the fan off for us. Our server was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The menu is interesting and varied. We chose the Chicken Quinoa Salad and the Hangar Steak. Both were very good and served promptly. While this is a big space with hardscapes, the noise level was fine. Overall, we fully enjoyed our dining experience and will certainly return soon."

  • "Harman's Eat and Drink offered a respite from the noise and dust of everday life. The server was attentive, but not annoying; the food was well prepared and the portions were appropriate. Our table enjoyed the pork shoulder, the duck confit, a pasta dish and some of the tacos as an appetizer...There was nothing to disappoint, only to pleasantly surprise with the flavors that just kept coming..."

  • "Went on a Tuesday night; it was NOT busy at all - had choice of seating & low noise level which was great. For what you get, price seems a little high. They have small salads - the size you'd expect; then a group labeled "large" salads. I ordered the LARGE Trout Waldorf Salad, $15 - a nice variation. It came in a small bowl - like a soup bowl. My dining companion burst out laughing when she saw it - - said "THAT is what they consider "large"?" In other restaurants a large salad would be at least 1/3 larger. Also, it felt like it was not assembled fresh right then; the dressing was a bit thick, lettuce a little wilted. It did taste ok and I enjoyed the change but I'd suggest they consider changing their plating or classification. "

  • "Harman's Saturday night wasn't as busy as I expected given the normal crush in Cherry Creek. Service was very good, friendly, and knowledgeable. Halibut was marginal, but the chicken quinoa salad was most delicious!"

  • "Nicely redone space, attentive service and interesting menu. Execution generally very good but not great. Faces stiff competition from other entrenched competitors in the healthy eating space. Wine prices on regular list way too high -- but special rose offerings were interesting and reasonable. "
