OUr third trip to Harmon's but out first disappointing experience. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. I think the problem was in the kitchen. Wonderful salad, good drinks, s l o w service. They were busy but that should not mean that one of our dinners, a hamburger, should arrive less than warm with a BURNED bun and cold fries. I want them to be successful, but they need some more work.

We went there for Restaurant Week and had an excellent meal with perfect service on the patio. The Smoked Trout Croquettes were very good and the Short Rib Tacos were good but spicy. We both had the Everything Crusted Salmon and it was cooked perfectly. They also had wine specials and we tried the Columbia chardonnay for $25 and it was good. We were glad we were on the patio as it is noisy inside.

We had lunch at Harman's a couple of weeks ago, and the food and service was excellent. The dinner we had there was not as good. Service was slow. It took 10 minutes just to get water and another ten for a cocktail. It was not crowded. I had the mussels which were way over salted and did not come with the ingredients described in the menu. Another turn off was that the lunch and dinner menu were the same. I suggest limiting your lunch menu--too many choices. Note to chef: taste food first for salt content.

Another fabulous concept by the owner of Town in Carbondale, CO and The Pullman in Glenwood--we've been fans for years. Although we live in Castle Rock, we drive up to the Creek regularly to frequent Harmen's, for the innovative, delicious menu. This time, we took a group of relatives and introduced them to the yumminess. My pork and watermelon salad balanced the sweet and savory just right. I paired the salad with a half-dozen oysters that were excellent (love fresh oysters in Denver!) Others raved about the roasted chicken. I always especially enjoy the fresh, creative cocktails and my son loves the local kombucha on tap. Highly recommended!

We went to dinner at Harman's with a group of 7; over the course of our meal we ordered three appetizers, 7 entrees, and 2 desserts and by the time we left there was not a single bite left on any plate! Every person loved everything they ordered. The service was good but nothing beyond average.

A group of 6 of us enjoyed Harman's for an early dinner (4:30pm) on Sunday, Aug. 10th, 2014 for a birthday celebration. The food was absolutely delicious-we sampled at least 1/3 of the menu. Without exception, everything was thoughtfully prepared, of proper proportion and extremely flavorful. Particular favorites of the group: celery root tots, homemade chips with blue cheese sauce, trout croquettes (REALLY TASTY), lobster pasta with corn relish, pozole that accompanied the porterhouse pork, and marinated steak with veggies. We also sampled the desserts; chocolate bar with peanut butter smear was definitely the winner there. Service was excellent and we were there early when there weren't many patrons, so the noise level was acceptable.

We dined on a wednesday night and the restaurant was never more than a third full. I was so loud I couldn't have a conversation with my companion without yelling and constantly saying "what!?" The table was also so dark after the sun went down that we couldn't' read the check to add a tip. Service was lack luster and inattentive, a seemingly nice manager who only wanted to talk about himself came by twice. On the upside the food and speciality cocktails were quite good. We wouldn't return based on the loudness and poor lighting

We really enjoyed all aspects of our dinner at Harman's. It's difficult to tell you why the food was so good without sounding a bit pretentious, but they really respect their ingredients and every element of our dishes seemed really well designed. We had a great time and left a little sloshed. All for a totally sensible price. Highly recommended.

My gluten-intolerant friend and I celebrated her birthday with a delicious lunch on the patio. There were so many mouth-watering menu items we couldn't decide what to order; it took us forever to narrow down the choices. I selected the restaurant after calling and inquiring about the quantity of GF options they offered, and my friend was pleasantly surprised with how many GF choices she had; not always the case with every dining establishment. The food was terrific, and every plate that passed our table en route to another looked fetching as well. Our waiter Spencer was wonderful, and I am already planning to take another gluten-intolerant friend here for her birthday soon. I'll definitely request the same waiter.

The 80 degree plus temperature along with very slow service made for a very unpleasant meal. The kitchen takes creativity to a fault. Initially a halibut dish appeared to be very tasty however, by the time I got to the entire plate, I encountered some unusual flavors that, for me were very unpleasant. A vegetarian dish was excellent. Portions are generous. The chef seems to be inclined to overdo what is apparently an effort to be creative.

The food was excellent as was the service. They had an excellent summer Rose wine special that caused us to branch out (and we are happy for it) and their small plate/large plate special for $20 made the price very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend Harman's if you are dining in Cherry Creek.

We had a 5pm Saturday reservation which was perfect, as we had a very nice dinner, only needing to talk a little loudly to hear each other. By the time we finished at 6:30, there were so many people in the restaurant and bar that conversation consisted of leaning in and yelling at each other. The recycled/distressed metal fixtures are a very cool nod to the farm-to-table theme, however, it means that this becomes a very noisy restaurant once the area near the bar starts filling up. Despite the noise, it's well worth a visit, because the food is outstanding. The garnishes on the various dishes are perfect flavor accents that really bring out the depth of the food. It was very easy (and delicious) to dine gluten-free.

I took a friend for her birthday and she is vegetarian. This restaurant had several choices for her - instead of the one roasted vegetables choice. They did not disappoint. The vegetarian dishes were very tasty. I had the chicken. The spices used made it a delicious and wondrous dish. I am still dreaming about it. There are several choices I still want to try. I am glad there are some places in Cherrry Creek that aren't trying to get the most money out of you just because they are in Cherry Creek. I would recommend this restaurant.

I like the food here and Harman's has been growing in popularity I've noticed. The positive-They have a good, solid menu and reasonable prices. The negative-the ambiance! Or lack of ambiance! I really wish the interior was more inviting. It's definitely worth a stop in for me once in a while but unfortunately I regular other cherry creek spots more. I'm still giving it 4 stars bc I think the menu is innovative and perfect fir picky/diet restricted foodies.

I like trying new restaurants especially ones that are dedicated to fresh whole foods, herbs and good beer. As much as I do love it I feel like the food is always over priced and could still leave you hungry. I feel this restaurant is no exception...maybe cause its Cherry Creek?? The restaurants decor is nice but the chairs are really hard and when we went it was super hot with no air conditioning. The server was nice but I think he got away with a lot because of his good looks. The food was above average. Taste and quality and selection would bring me back to this place.

Tried Harman's for the first time on a Friday night. We tire of the trendy Cherry Creek restaurant experience where price and attitude are usually off putting. Not the case here. We were greeted warmly and offered a choice between a window table in the bar or a table in the dining area. We chose the window but found a cold draft hitting the table. The manager immediately and happily turned the fan off for us. Our server was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The menu is interesting and varied. We chose the Chicken Quinoa Salad and the Hangar Steak. Both were very good and served promptly. While this is a big space with hardscapes, the noise level was fine. Overall, we fully enjoyed our dining experience and will certainly return soon.
