  • "We arrived just as they opened for lunch at 11:30, and we waited for a long time before being able to order -- they just seemed unprepared for the lunch rush. Luckily, we had a great view of the harbor to admire while waiting. It's also great for people-watching and checking out all the different boats. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was -- the fried green tomatoes with crab are amazing! Definitely a worthwhile spot to visit if you have your heart set on dining with a water view."

  • "The new menu certainly appeals to diners under 40 but lacks options for less spicy and caloric fare. The service also is hit or miss. Adding just a few of the fish options - minus hot condiments and chicken that is not fried might help. The wine selection was limited lacking some fairly usual wines."

  • "We were greeted and seated pleasantly and promptly. The view was great. Our waitress was slow getting the drinks which was fine, we had our view. Food was really good. My salmon salad had a more modern flair and I enjoyed it. Salmon was a bit overdone and dry. Burgers and fish and chips were on the menu too. Overall our group liked the food. When the food was served and for the bill our waitress was downright crabby. "I'll get that when I have time to. Not right now". She added 20percent for our group so I guess she could care less about service."

  • "Came to dinner with another couple. Sat outside. Restaurant full. Had tempura catfish...amazingly crunchy, light and delicious. Service was a little slow but food made up for it."

  • "Nice "outdoor deck" atmosphere. Isinglass panels protect when weather goes afoul and roll up for a great time otherwise. Great view of the harbor and Miles river beyond. There is a gas fired fireplace that provides more than adequate heat for the cooler evenings. I had the Char-grilled Oysters to start. Tasted really good but they, like so many restaurants do, neglected to shuck the oysters from the bottom shell. Next, the Crispy Fried Catfish. Fantastic. Light, tempura-like batter and the catfish was cooked perfectly. The Creole spiced fries have ruined me for plain french fries. My wife had the grilled jumbo shrimp. She never finishes a meal at dinner - doggy-bagging the rest. Not this time - clean plate club. "
