The dinner menu is dull, and there isn't much to choose from. What makes it better is the view of the water and boats.

This dockside restaurant, formerly known as Pasquale's, has been redesigned. You look right out on St. Michaels Harbor. The chef is one of the best in town. Excellent food in a romantic setting.

The kitchen here turns out unusually high quality cuisine. And the restaurant has a terrific view of the St Michaels harbor. Neither of those two great attributes are matched by the decor (really uncomfortable wire tables that belong in a roadside stand somewhere) or service ("casual" would be a complimentary way of putting it). If the management wants to charge higher prices for higher quality entrees, then get to work on the decor and professional service! Could they at least find a tablecloth? Of course I don't expect a tablecloth when I'm served a hot dog by a kid at an informal restaurant, but that's not what this restaurant wants to be.

The food here could not be better. The beef brisket was excellent. The catfish was outstanding. Desserts were house-made and excellent. The service and overall execution just misses the mark. Their "sister" restaurant in town is absolutely perfect every time. We just don't understand what goes wrong here at Harbourside.

We had dinner at Harbourside for my parents anniversary during our vacation in St. michaels. When we were seated and looked at the menu, we were skeptical but we were all very pleasantly surprised at ALL of our food!! The Cream of Crab was the best we ever had, not overly creamy and plenty of flavor. We also had the jambalaya and fried catfish which was great. The Mac and cheese was excellent, my daughter inhaled it. And to top it all of, the chocolate fudge cake was out of this world. Next time we are in St. Michaels we will definitely return for dinner!!

Harborside Grill is great for dinning out in the evening because of the wonderful view of St Michaels harbor. The location draws a great variety of people getting of and on the yatchs, in other words good people watching.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Harbourside Grill. The food was great and service was just as good. We were sat at a table with a great view of the harbor so there was a lot to watch while we ate. We would definitely visit this restaurant again when we visit St. Michael's again.

We had fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits for lunch. The biscuits were outstanding. I didn't care for the batter on the chicken. I also had all dark meat. My husband had a mixture. The coleslaw was made with buttermilk which I didn't care for either. Our daughter had chicken nuggets which she liked. Great setting on the deck. The service was GREAT! Very nice.

We arrived just as they opened for lunch at 11:30, and we waited for a long time before being able to order -- they just seemed unprepared for the lunch rush. Luckily, we had a great view of the harbor to admire while waiting. It's also great for people-watching and checking out all the different boats. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was -- the fried green tomatoes with crab are amazing! Definitely a worthwhile spot to visit if you have your heart set on dining with a water view.

The new menu certainly appeals to diners under 40 but lacks options for less spicy and caloric fare. The service also is hit or miss. Adding just a few of the fish options - minus hot condiments and chicken that is not fried might help. The wine selection was limited lacking some fairly usual wines.

We were greeted and seated pleasantly and promptly. The view was great. Our waitress was slow getting the drinks which was fine, we had our view. Food was really good. My salmon salad had a more modern flair and I enjoyed it. Salmon was a bit overdone and dry. Burgers and fish and chips were on the menu too. Overall our group liked the food. When the food was served and for the bill our waitress was downright crabby. "I'll get that when I have time to. Not right now". She added 20percent for our group so I guess she could care less about service.

Nice "outdoor deck" atmosphere. Isinglass panels protect when weather goes afoul and roll up for a great time otherwise. Great view of the harbor and Miles river beyond. There is a gas fired fireplace that provides more than adequate heat for the cooler evenings. I had the Char-grilled Oysters to start. Tasted really good but they, like so many restaurants do, neglected to shuck the oysters from the bottom shell. Next, the Crispy Fried Catfish. Fantastic. Light, tempura-like batter and the catfish was cooked perfectly. The Creole spiced fries have ruined me for plain french fries. My wife had the grilled jumbo shrimp. She never finishes a meal at dinner - doggy-bagging the rest. Not this time - clean plate club.
