A word from Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar Lodo
The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they’re Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.Continued

- Love Hapa SushiJaneDined on 8/10/2014I had only eaten at the Hapa Sushi in Cherry Creek before, so it was great to find this location when we went downtown to attend a theater production. The tuna did not seem quite as fresh as usual, but then this was Sunday evening. Every thing else was very, very good. And the service was beyond outstanding: attentive, efficient, and gracious.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Birthday dinnerPamelaDined on 8/8/2014We enjoyed celebrating my son's birthday dinner with friends. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- DecentetcwestDined on 8/3/2014Visited on a Sun during Happy Hour, our server, Kortney, was awesome. She knew the menu and was very confidant suggested pairings. She was attentive with everything, we never had to look for her but she also wasn't overbearing. Food was decent tasting, quality and priced, I will return.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Meh.Luv2dineDined on 7/31/2014The good was good however we came during lunch and the service was not spectacular. It was kind of slow and took a while to get the checks.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Always greatEatsOutOnOccasionVIPDined on 7/30/2014It's been awhile since I have stepped into Hapa and I'm glad I had the opportunity. The food and atmosphere was great. The hand rolls were just right for lunch. Staff was nice and made sure I felt like old family coming back for a regular visit. Thank you.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- friendly waiter and sushi chefMutantAsianDined on 7/29/2014Attentive service. I was in a rush, sadly--the service was quick and friendly.
- Always a good lunchjrichardDined on 7/25/2014My wife and I always enjoy our trips to hapa. They have good sushi and starters. Never disappointed by a lunch date with my bride at Hapa. Always a good choice.Special Features:
- Modern comfortable sushi spotTuorDined on 7/21/2014Quality sushi with surprisingly delicious soups and large saké list.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Disappointingjj2denverDined on 7/8/2014This restaurant should not be rated above two. They advertise valet parking which didn't exist. The waitress brought our order and then disappeared for long periods of time - we waited to order additional sushi, and we waited to get water refilled and we gave up on further cocktails. Only the bill arrived on time. The sushi was also disappointing though the fish quality was good. Rolls and nigiri both self destructed when we tried to pick them up. Skip this one.
- Excellent Happy HourChinofoodluverDined on 7/7/2014This was a restaurant picked from Open Table. It was very good. We were there for Happy Hour and could not believe the food we got for the money. Thank you for a great experience.Special Features:
- Interesting sushi selectionWorldwidetravelerDined on 7/5/2014The first time at napa sushi lodo. I found the food very interesting with new sushi items I've never seen before. The ambiance was nice with a friendly wait staff. The restaurant was very busy yet noise level was a 2level. It was quite enjoyable and I do plan to go back and try several other items on the menu.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.

- Early DinnerTNazzDined on 5/16/2014My wife and I decided to visit Hapa before the play Friday evening. The hostess asked if we would like to be seated to participate in Happy Hour and we decided to sit in the bar area. The food was great and the Happy Hour prices were even better. My wife enjoyed the evening that she can't wait to go back.

- Hapa SushiOpenTable Diner Since 2014Dined on 5/9/2014Great sushi, service was quick and the people were nice. I really liked what I ate and they had a really good 12 yr aged Japanese whiskey.I would recommend this to a friend.
- Thoughtful and flexiblegradfamDined on 5/8/2014We had a graduation dinner, but did not know exactly when we would get there. We were running late and they worked with us. Good food, good service, great time! Parking was hellish and it resulted in us ending our dinner in a rush in order to make the meters...and that was all three cars. 2 hours, 2 blocks away. Barely made it, so watch out for the lodo site and plan for it.Special Features:
- Super fresh and gorgeous sushiGr8gmaDined on 5/1/2014I've had sushi before and hated it. I went along with the group preference for sushi at Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar in Lodo, and it changed my entire opinion of sushi! I loved it! We had several selections all of which were delectable. And if you have the opportunity, choose Kourtney for your server. She was wonderful - so much so that we tried to hire her for our company!Special Features:
- The BEST!TampaGirlDined on 4/30/2014I went to Hapa while in Denver for a convention. My first thought was - sushi in land-locked denver, it can't be good! I was SO wrong. Not only was the service excellent, the food was amazing. The group I was with ordered a bunch of rolls for everyone to share. Every roll had its own unique flavor and was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgable and helped us make some great choice. The Saki was also delicious…..the Fresh and Light was our favorite!!Special Features:
- Excellent SushiWinendinemeDined on 4/26/2014Great selection of "out of the box" sushi, service was awesome! Great place for couples date night or alone date night ;)Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Best Sushi DowntownAdventurousEaterDined on 4/26/2014Hapa is a fantastic spot for sushi and trying something new! They have a great variety of items to try. If the food wasn't enough, their service tops the delicious food experience. The servers bring me back ever time! They are genuinely nice and enjoy what they are doing. It's refreshing to see that especially during a busy time. I would recommend Hapa to all!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Excellent Meal!JJWEsqVIPDined on 4/24/2014We had a great meal here (sushi is outstanding), which was made more excellent by our wait staff, Dean and Troy! Wonderful night!Special Features:

- Nice Atmospherepyrogrrl12Dined on 4/22/2014I absolutely loved the outdoor dining choice. We went there for a quick lunch. THe food was really good. We had a lunch special. The prices are a bit steep, but the lunch special was reasonable. The service was OK....they didn't keep our water filled and she didn't know much about the menu. Only to recommend the priciest rolls.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Good Food...Good ServiceOpenTable Diner Since 2012Dined on 4/18/2014Our first time to any of the Hapa's...good experience. Food was good and service was excellent.Special Features:
- Pepsi Center pre dinnerBarbieDined on 4/11/2014We went to Hapa prior to our Mammoth game, lots of good food and fun!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- awesome happy hourriotbirdDined on 3/21/2014The happy hour menu is great and makes dining at hapa much more affordable. Not sure when it starts, but ends at 5:30. The only blip in the experience was that the waiter didn't believe us when we told him one of our roles didn't come, but he put the order in again anyways.I would recommend this to a friend.
- Good SushiNancDined on 3/12/2014It's hard to mess up good sushi, I've rarely had any bad. But this restaurant kind off added their own twist to the coupling of flavors. Unique, but standard enough to entice a Sushi beginner. I liked it.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Somethin SpecialSweetdishDined on 3/9/2014My husband and I enjoyed the experience and the food was excellent!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Highly recommend!NessaLee327Dined on 3/8/2014I've been a regular of Hapa's for several years but only recently went to this location in LoDo, I normally frequent the ones in Cherry Creek and Boulder. This location is a little bit smaller than the others, and the bar is a little bit cramped during busy hours, but it definitely doesn't negatively affect the dining experience. The Philly roll is my absolute favorite! But you really can't go wrong with whatever you pick :) friendly helpful staff as well!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- We LOVE Hapa Sushi - all of themIknowqualityVIPDined on 3/7/2014This was our first visit to the LODO location - we frequent the Hapa Sushi at Landmark at least three times a month. The menu at LODO was the same, the service equally competent, the food excellent as always. We like the ambience at Landmark better because it is a newer space (and much closer to where we live). That said, you CANNOT BEAT Hapa Sushi's Happy Hour menu. We don't drink so we go exclusively for the food. The variety is outstanding and every item is DELICIOUS.Special Features:
- Hapa Happy HourDEEMVIPDined on 3/1/2014Always a joy to go to Hapa for the late-night weekend happy hour.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Restaurant WeekOpenTable Diner Since 2010Dined on 2/25/2014The restaurant week menu was excellent. The Poke was huge, just perfect for two by itself. The surf and turf was amazing. The staff was nice enough to bring out an extra dessert for my girlfriend's birthday. Great time, great llace I would definately reccomend Hapa to anyone.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
