  • "I've always enjoyed the many meat dishes at this place. Beef, lamb and pork are all amply represented on the menu but one of the hidden gems is the fruit of the sea. The Seafood Jackpot is a beautiful looking ice tower consisting of lobster tails, oysters, king crab legs, huge shrimp (at least U10 or maybe U7s) and lump crab meat. It was served with a variety of sauces and small pot of shaved horseradish. The latter was served with the advisory that it was "Atomic Hot" and this was no exaggeration. The prices are a little high but since it is located within the GVR resort many diners may be on some sort of comp or player's discount which might account for many diners not watching the budget (or diet). A great SPLURGE experience!"

  • "My sister and I took my dad to Hanks for a special 86th birthday dinner. Of course, he loves steak and lives in Henderson so what better place to celebrate than at green valley ranch at Hanks. The servers were attentive without being overbearing. The steaks were perfectly cooked to my sister's and Dad's specifications. Me, bring a pescatarian, had the salmon which was also perfectly cooked-tender, moist and delicious. The bread basket was filled with various types so each one of us got what we wanted. My fav was the flatbread. Side dishes ordered were the sweet potato and creamed corn. Very yummy. I strongly recommend Hanks."
