"Amazing food and service was great. Our waitress was fantastic. We went out for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed. Everything they brought to the table was such a treat. I would definitely recommend Hana's to anyone who enjoys Japanese food."

"Except for a 45 minute wait for a table, the food was very good. I found the prices alittle expensive from a value perspective (example: choice of soup or salad while most other hibachi restaurants include both for the same price). Food ws good, chef was very entertaining. OPenTable process was very easy to use."

"If you are familiar with Japanese Steakhouses, you will not be disappointed. I think of it as "the Benihana of Waterbury, CT." The staff was very nice, the food was good and compared to Manhattan, reasonably priced. Good place to bring the kids."

"I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. I reserved two tables, but they only gave me one to seat my party of 10. The service was slow. The hibachi chef, Louis, was not engaging and exciting. He did not offer sake and didn't do tricks with the eggs like I've experienced in the past. In fact, he didn't add egg to the rice. A few people in my party wanted plain white rice. It took a very long time to get it. One person ordered a meal from the kitchen, but received it after the rest of us finished half of our hibachi meal and we had to ask several times to find out what was taking so long. When we asked Louis about sake, he said they ran out because the boss didn't order any. We found out this was not true."

"In the waterbury area, they have by far the freshest and best tasting sushi around. On the other hand, their hibachi is lacking. Having gone twice and getting different hibachi chefs each time, I'm not impressed with it. The food tends to be overcooked and dry. If you stick with the sushi though, you will have a fantastic experience food wise. Noise wise, it is a hibachi restaurant, so it is quite loud, as expected, so I would not try to have a quiet dinner here. The service seems confused a lot of times as well, and both times I went, our waitress was either absentminded or didn't know the menu well.
