"Love it that they have an herb/veg garden in the back! Service can be hit and miss. This is the first time we've been there for brunch. Service was okay. Dinner time service historically has been great. It was always one of my favorite restaurants (until a few years ago) for atmosphere, service, and quality of food. We had not been there in a while because the quality seemed lackin. But brunch was good!"

"Our brunch was awesome. Had the chicken and waffles/bacon and hazelnut. It was better than one could imagine. Loved the azelbines? I will definitely be back for these."

"The Hall Street Grill's prime rib is always outstanding in flavor and texture, the rare cut was tender and juicy. The fresh grated horseradish is the perfect compliment.

The cedar-planked salmon was also tender with excellent flavor, although I didn't particully care for the sauce, the bed of greens nor did I enjoy the fingerling potatoes.

However, the desert, a "cupcake" made with brown sugar,was such a disappointment that I sent it back after one bite. We then substituted the creme brule which was excellent.

We truely enjoyed the live music, especially the bass player."

"Hall street grill has maintained its earthy, casual, yet upscale ambience for years. It's one of those places where you'd expect it to be a chain since the food is so consistently good. But it's a (I think) privately owned landmark in Beaverton. It seems that the age range for patrons ranges a bit younger than McCormick & schmicks. Most people are between 30 on up. Their food is awesome. Artistically made and their drinks rock. Servers are wonderful too. In the summertime it's fun to eat on the quiet patio. Very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant & bar. The food is similar in quality as Stanford's, but not a big company feel. So unique and changing menu regularly."

"They tried to fit too many tables in their space. Chairs bumping into each other. Servers took 5 mins to even notice we had no sweeteners on our table! Food was of below average flavour, and overpriced. Eggs benedict was unsliceable. Prime Rib was paper thin. Butter was generic, not the good stuff. Both Hash dishes looked burnt. Only thing good was the Salmon"
