Diner Reviews
  • "Great atmosphere and part of the Packer Heritage Trail. Food was very good - good sized portions for a fair price. Would definitely recommend this place."

  • "The food and service was great! One negative was the parking. It took awhile to find somewhere to park."

  • "My mother recommended this restaurant for my husband and mine's date night. We live out of town and had never heard of the place. We were seated by the windows facing the fox river, gas fireplace/fire, and "ice" skating rink. The service was friendly and efficient. We found the menu interesting and appetizing. The food was great! Great flavor and quality at a decent price. After our meal, we went out to skate on the synthetically made ice rink--they rent skates there for a couple of dollars. We are excited to return again. Will leave our 2 and 5 year old with grandma again--not a place for the kids."

  • "Our food was very good...but my wife really enjoys the lobster Mac....it was on the Friday menu but she couldn't have it because of the other special... she was looking forward to it....especially on Valentine's day....it shouldn't be on the menu if its not available"

  • "Reserved a table through Open Table for Valentine dinner, however, they didn't show our reservation. They said they've been having problems and need to fix something on their end. Seated us right away anyway. Food was just average. Nothing wowed us. I've eaten here several times since they opened and the food just doesn't taste as good. Menu doesn't seem to change much. Disappointed that they no longer serve the french fries that they once did. Not a big fry person but we always got their fries, now they just serve crinkle fries, the same kind you buy in your local grocery stores frozen food section. Waitress was nice but not very knowledgable about drinks offered. Like the ice rink and the outdoor dining."

  • "My friend and I both ordered the tenderloin steak sandwich which was the special for $10. We both thought it was wonderful. The sandwich had very tender cuts of steak, mushrooms and a tasty horseradish sauce. It was served with your choice of potatoes. I hope they have that again when I go. Otherwise, I would order the cajun alfredo which is also wonderful. We had a fun time watching people ice skate while being warm and well fed inside."

  • "We had really good food and it came out in a timely fashion. There were tvs all over with playoff football games. It was a little chilly and you felt rushed eating with the music they had playing."

  • "This was our first time visiting this establishment. We had a table of ten. The restaurant was very busy as it was a Saturday evening. They gave me a courtesy call to let me know to arrive earlier to guarantee I was out in time for our show per my request. The establishment is refreshing and clean. The food was wonderfully presented and portions were generous. They offered many choces in food and drinks. This was the absolute best dining we have experienced in the Green Bay area! A definite must for any one visiting and bring your iceskates as they have a wonderful rink! Great family atmosphere and sports bar!"

  • "Table was set at the appointed time, staff was friendly, prompt. Food was good. Corned beef on Reuben was was actual corned beef, not deli lunch meat. Would recommend this place for groups, or individuals. Nice building, nice view of river."

  • "extremely noise. it was difficult to have a conversation without shouting. I would think for someone who doesn't mind noise, it would be a great place. Maybe we should have picked a different place."

  • "This restaurant/bar had great burgers and area specialties. The bar area was loud, but the hostess was able to sit our party around the corner so we could talk. It has a nice riverfront patio for the warmer months."

  • "Loved the Packers themed ambiance. My steak dinner wasn't anything to write home about nor were the sides, but then again the price was great. I'd say this is definitely a sportsbar, so stick to the burgers, appetizers and sides those looked and were amazing. The beer selection of Midwest brews was excellent, and the perky and friendly waitress had some good suggestions. I can't wait to go back and maybe catch a game on one of the many flat screens. Hopefully during warmer weather because the patio with fireplace and tv's overlooking the river was beautiful."

  • "Everything was wonderful. The bruschetta appetizer. The fact that Captain's Walk wine was on the menu. My ragin' Cajun alfredo. Service was quick and friendly. The only downside is that we were there for Sweetest Day - a romantic dinner, and we were seated right next to a room that was being cleaned up. Perhaps there was a party just held in there. For that reason, there were tons of employees around us, noise and hubbub. Other than that, we had nearly a perfect night!! It may have been nice too if our view was not obstructed by bikers/skateboarders with their pants falling off their bums - not sure if HP could do anything about that though:)"

  • "This is about as good as any sports bar, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The food was good, service was very good, and there were plenty of TV's with football games. If you're looking for fine dining, this isn't it, but it's a good sports bar."
