A word from Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar
Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant offers a wide array of traditional Ethiopian cuisine. All dishes are prepared only with authentic Ethiopian spices. The owner, Yarid Teklu does all of the cooking himself, as he feels each dish needs to be created perfectly for his guests. The menu includes an excellent variety of both vegetarian and healthy dishes. The restaurant was established in March 2003, and recently, a sister restaurant was opened in Ethiopia by the name of Cazadores.

Habesha also believes in serving the community in a variety of positive ways. Habesha supports the local community by hosting special gatherings, bringing people together over traditional Ethiopian ceremonies and parties, as well as supporting local churches.

I had never had Ethiopian food before and really enjoyed it. We were the only people at the restaurant at 1p on a Saturday and the service was slow but the waiter was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

If you're in the mood for a nice glass of wine with dinner, stick with an Italian place - Ethiopian "wine" is awful. Staff here is very sweet and genuine but there is a language barrier and no real sense of customer service. Food WAS great, though...
