Attendants are on duty from 5 AM to 11 PM daily, or longer based on goings-on at Hotel Fifty. Available parking in downtown Portland is a rare find. Covered parking is unheard of. And FREE Valet covered parking for diners is, well non-existent. In other words, this is a BIG deal.

"This is one of those rare gems that truly catered. Jesse was so awesome ensuring that each course of meal was presented with style. The chef tailored a special meal for us in vegatarian fashion and it was absolutely wonderful. A big thank you to the entire H50 crew...you all set the mood for a wonderful evening. We'll be back!"

"It's our "occasion" place.
Service is exquisite. Food is such a surprise: venison saddle with a dark chocolate/orange sauce "slide" – my fiance was in heaven!
My hangar steak was not consistently cooked. Over half was close to way too rare/blue. (I ordered it medium-rare.)
Disappointingly, they were out of raw oysters. Also steak tartare, for those who indulge. It happens, I know.

"The restaurant at H50 bistro and bar is one of Portland's hidden gems. People tend to think of hotel restaurants at simply mediocre, but this one is a real find. Great, fresh food prepared by an experienced chef. We highly recommend."

"We stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning. The place was quiet - a few diners and one waiter. The food was good and it was nice to sit near the window and watch the world drive / jog / walk by."
