"Great find! The food was excellent! Although confusing and extensive, their drink menu was fun to read! Drinks were great! Servers need to be trained a little better on the drinks and ingredients to help with recommendations. LOVED the pimento cheese appetizer! Overall, this is a great neighborhood find and I will definitely go back!"

"This was my first visit to H. Harper. The restored train depot has a cool modern look to it. The service was outstanding. While the menu is limited, everything we had was great. The deviled eggs, piment cheese and bacon carmelcorn were all fun starters. For small plates, I highly recommend the pork belly. In the entree area, everyone had the burger, which was very good. The herb tator tots were a great accompaniment. H. Harper has a nice selection of libations including some nice craft beers (Bells) and a decent wine selection. Others in my group enjoyed some nicely crafted cocktails! I cannot wait to go back and try the hanger steak. Complementary valet parking is always a plus!"

"The atmosphere was hip, different and inviting for a fun evening. The wait staff was attentive and not overbearing as I waited for my party that was running behind. The meal was satisfactory and when I didn't clean my plate, I expected my server to ask about my experience. When she didn't I told her my mediocre satisfaction, I was surprised the manager didn't come by to find out more about my dish."

"Terrific food. Greatly enjoyed the legume salad served with the fish dish. And those garlic tater tots are irresistable. Also, the appetizer platter with the pimento cheese and deviled eggs was fun."

"Excellent cocktails and small plates - they were amazing with fantastic sauces - almost better than the main entrees. Service was a little erratic although our waitress was incredibly nice - it would be a long time to get something and then three things would come at once. The kitchen is a hike and I think all these things will smooth out. Amazing Old Fashioned!
We'll come back for sure...."

"Perfect for date. Drink elixars are memorable! Farm to table dishes were prepared with patience and passion. Great favors. Ambiance is welcoming and just cool! Staff is friendly and attentive. Check it out one or twice. I'll be back. Oh, and they're on scoutmob!"
