The staff were friendly and got the kids food out early. The food was good , the service excellent, and everybody enjoyed the occasion . My original reservation asked to set us up outside, but when we got there it was just a bit too warm and windy. So we asked to Keely to move inside. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The waiter, Jeff, was just outstanding! He was very attentive to the needs of our guests and gracious. Everyone raved about the food. The chocolate custard was one of the best desserts I have ever had. I had to restrain myself from licking the plate! Service couldn't have been better. Wait staff was attentive, congenial and accomodating. She loved it - delicious and cooked perfectly. I ordered the NY Strip, it was also cooked perfectly, was really juicy. We love the food here, our service is always fantastic, love the outdoor patio on nice nights. We had eaten at the Gumbo's location downtown many times before but since it's closed we decided to try the Bee Caves location. It wasn't crowded (7:30 reservations) and the music was a plus. The food was good and the drinks were very good. Friendly helpful staff.
