  • "Gulfstream Cafe was amazing! My husband and I went there during our weekend getaway and fell in love with the food. You definitely get what you pay for! Can't wait to go back!"

  • "I recommended Gulf Stream Café to several friends from out of state who are planning family vacations here. This was a dry run for several of them and they were not disappointed. Suggested Sunday Brunch as well. Who doesn't like Bloody Mary's? Excellent food, as always. I do random restaurant reviews all over the MB area. Your food has always been consistent and the portion size and presentation were spot on."

  • "The Gulfstream is a wonderful place to dine. We love to take friends who are in town because of the gorgeous view. We love to as a couple, because the waitstaff is so attentive. Just a great all round experience."

  • "Gulfstream Café is a great place for any meal given its location on Murrell's Inlet. The Sunday Brunch provides ample quantities of breakfast and lunch items including scrambled eggs, French toast, cheese grits, bagels, muffins, fried cod, salad, mussels, hush puppies, and excellent made to order omlettes. The hostesses were polite and accommodating. Our waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service. We will eat at Gulfstream again."

  • "My partner and I planned our dinner date at the Gulfstream to coincide with sunset. Best choice ever! Beautiful view of the sunset over the inlet, great food, great service, and a very enjoyable experience."

  • "Love this place - I only wish they would offer a vegetable of the day to change up options and cole slaw would be a nice addition especially with the fried seafood but otherwise a very nice experience!"

  • "Wehad dinner here on 4/4/2014, and it was delicious. I had the lobster tail stuffed with crabmeat, grit cake, and creamed spinach. My husband had the fried seafood platter. I am hard to please and the food was excellent."

  • "Requested a waterside table and was there for us. Check the sunset time and reserve accordingly. Magnificent sunset over murrell's inlet. This was our first dining on the beach side of the inlet. Never going back to the restaurant row on the mainland. Sparse menu, but excellent. Oysters were outstanding. Grouper entree was superb. Service was great. Will return!!!"

  • "We have been here many times- love the view and the food is always good. Sunset over the marsh and then the lights of Marshwalk. Lovely"

  • "the brunch is fantastic and the price is right. It does get crowded so reservations are recommended. The view is very nice and the staff are excellent. They could use more people making omelets as the line does get long."

  • "Went to the Gulfstream for Sunday brunch. Had reservations so we were seated immediately. There was about a 40 minute wait if you didn't have reservations as the restaurant was really busy. We were seated at the window with a lovely view of the marina. The brunch had a nice assortment of items, all prepared very well. The omelet bar was busy but worth the wait to get a custom omelet. Decided to try the BYOBM Build your own Bloody Mary, which was great. The bar had all kinds of mixers, spices and additions to choose from. Service was very good. Our waiter was personable and attentive. The brunch was $9.95 so very reasonable for the quality of the food, which included grits, fish, mussels, hush puppies and other southern favorites."

  • "My husband and I lucked out with a corner table surrounded by windows with a view of the inlet, marsh and boats. He had the She crab soup as an appetizer and it was delicious - highly recommend. My shrimp cocktail was good but not great. Our entrees were both excellent - he had the seafood pasta and I had the crab cakes which had little to no filler and really good mustard sauce. The sides of green beans and garlic mashed were also really good. The only bummers were our server - she was distracted and non existent and the poor excuse of a Manhattan I ordered before dinner - it was made with white Vermouth, yikes. We will go back for the ambiance and food but will stay away from cocktails there. Hopefully we will get a better server."

  • "Was recommended by a local and it didn't disappoint. Try the Oysters Rockefeller. They're incredible! Service was spot on as well."

  • "This place has an awesome sunset view over the marsh, and a peek at the ocean across the street. Fresh seafood, with quite a lot of extras. Salads are big, so think about splitting one with an entree. Parmesan crusted grouper was outstanding, as was the fisherman's platter. Service is very attentive but not overly obtrusive. Definitely a winner."

  • "The Gulfstream Cafe has been a personal favorite for many years. It was a special occasion, I wanted to treat my girlfriend to a romantic dinner, and there is nothing better than the sunset view over the marsh there. I requested a window table when making my reservation through Open Table, realizing that such requests cannot be guaranteed. I was delighted when we arrived on time to be shown promptly to a beautiful window table for two with a spectacular view. She was impressed, saying "you did good!". She was even more impressed when our server Jason brought us a complimentary sparkling wine toast to start, and continued to give us excelled service. She loved the seafood platter too. This one-of-a-kind restaurant does not disappoint."

  • "Although i had made a reservation, we had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table. Why make a reservation if one is going to have to wait anyway? The food was good, but the service was not. Our waitress seemed to be very out of sorts, and did not come back to check on us or refill water and coffee without being asked, and did not clear our dishes as we finished with courses. Very disappointing service from a restaurant where we usually get good service."

  • "We have visited the other restaurants in their group so we thought we'd drive an hour for Valentines Day and give Gulfstream a try. Being a busy night we did feel a bit rushed to eat our meal, I'm sure it's different on a regular night."

  • "This is a great change from the Marsh walk, Board walk, Market walk, etc crowd. Gread food with quality service. Our waiter made us feel special. This was not our first visit and, as usual, the food was the best."

  • "The food and friendly service was outstanding. The view from the dinning area was great, and the place was clean . The noise level was very high, because the table next to us had to much to drink I believe before they arrived."

  • "The food and service of Gulfstream has always been consistently top notch. There are few restaurants that offer the magnificent view from everywhere within the restaurant. The second floor bar is unique and quite quaint. Our dinning experiences have always been very good."

  • "We went to this restaurant for "brunch" on New Year's Day expecting an assortment of brunch fair and a nice view. The view is very nice. The interior of the restaurant is nice and the waitress was attentive. The food was barely edible with a very limited choice of items. Overly salted dried out potatoes, gloppy grits, unrecognizable caesar salad, powdered or liquid eggs and not much else. Save your money and stay at the hotel for free breakfast, it will be better."

  • "Never had been at Gulfstream for brunch but will definitely be back their early bird special is a great price love the view"

  • "I love Gulfstream Café, but the food wasn't very hot. I thought at first it was because of my cold but the scrambled eggs were good. The fish and the French toast were very dry, thank goodness for the warm syrup and delicious tartar sauce. Otherwise it would have been inedible. But thank you for providing me with a nice brunch on New Year's Day. The view was perfect from our window table even though it was cloudy outside."
