  • "Walking into G&G is impressive. For a fine dining restaurant it is very big and open, and it's well-decorated. It's a really great looking location. We had a group of five who all ordered different entrees and desserts, and they were all very tasty. Steaks and fish were prepared and presented nicely. Side dishes are served family style and are big enough for two (or three). We had reservations early on a Sunday evening and it was snowing so there wasn't much of a crowd yet. But G&G is designed to handle a good sized crowd who want to mingle."

  • "Very beautiful space and nice atmosphere. Food was good, but not so special. $18 lunch salad with three very small bits of beef. Waiter over the top with his description of the menu items but was not sure what fish was in the sandwich special. Still pretty new so willing to give them a break, but hard to justify the prices for what is delivered."

  • "They tried to sit us at a weird table. We asked for a different table. It took them 10 minutes to figure out a table for us even though the restaurant was empty. Just get us seated so we can drink & eat and worry about your seating chart later. The food was good. The lamb was very good. The waiter was dragging. Many managers walking around but nobody touching tables."

With a great bar & dining room layout that is covered with cool & sexy decor & furniture it makes anyone feel comfortable. The menu has all the steak house classics with many extra unique items expected to be found on Chef Troy Guards menu. The Sauteed Carrot app is amazingly tasty! Steaks can be ordered wood grilled…Yummy! Red Snapper dish is best ever. Sides we suggest the cream spinach & creamy whipped mashed potatoes. Carrot Cake ice cream to go with the awesome Chocolate Martini (Slasha & Jeff) is a must. Jason Borders is the Managing Partner. He is poised to lead this restaurant & his staff to great success.   • "TAG has always been one of our favorite restaurants so we were very excited to try the newest restaurant in the Troy Guard group. It did not disappoint. Everything was amazing. One had the lamb, one a filet and one had lobster. All were delicious. The gnocchi side was amazing as were the crab cake appetizers. We also has a wedge salad and the Brussels sprouts which were also well prepared. Can't wait for it to warm up enough to try out that patio!"

  • "In town for a convention and therefore tried numerous restaurants in the area. This place was by far the best we experienced. They had only been open 12 days when we dined there (group of 7), and yet the quality of food, drinks and SERVICE was outstanding!! We we were warmly greeted by the host and the manager and quickly seated at our table. Our server, Ben, was attentive, professional, and extremely well versed in the menu and wine list. The supporting wait staff kept glasses full and everything we tried was excellently prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. The steaks were delicious, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked to order, and the sides were wonderful. Must try: Local grass-fed steaks, gnocchi, house made ice cream"

  • "Server made a mistake and ordered the wrong steak for me. He never told a manager and I ended up paying for a steak I didn't order, didn't enjoy and didn't want. Very dissappointed. After admitting to his mistake of ringing in the wrong steak his table presence went downhill. My girlfriends 4 oz filet was wonderful. Food was great, server was dissappointeing. Managers were present on the floor but I didn't see them touching tables which might have saved this particular situation."

  • "Went to Guard and Grace on a Thursday evening as a group of 9. Appetizers were good but small. Great wine list. 8 entrees came out together and the ninth came out about the time the other eight were done eating which was poorly executed. Price was good, portions (especially the sides) were small compared to restaurants in this class. Not sure if I would recommend or not."

  • "After some excitement about the opening of this new local, upscale restaurant, my co-workers and I were highly disappointed. The server started by stating that this is the restaurant’s second day serving lunch. We arrived on time for our 12:00pm reservation, but we did not receive our food until 12:40 and 12:45pm--and all four of us only ordered sandwiches. I ordered the "Leg of Lamb" sandwich, which probably would have been better had it been served at least warm; the chilly temperature inside probably did not help with this. By the time we finished our main courses and were asked about dessert, it was 1:05pm. Sadly, on our way out, many of the restaurant's employees wished us a nice/great day, but none asked how the food or service was."

  • "Everything from the ambiance, modern open feel, bar appearance and space and food were excellent. While there were some service hiccups at bar and table, all staff were welcoming and friendly...genuinely left impression that they wanted to be part of Troy's new venture. I'm sure this was teething problems given we visited on day three! The food was truly memorable, salads were creative and fresh, entrees spectacular. My prime strip and brussels sprouts were perfect and my wife said her Chicken Enchilada was the best she'd ever had! The chocolate lava cake with peanut butter amazing. Only disappointment was the charcuterie - small serving no garnish or accompaniment. We'll definitely return!"

  • "Took a bit long to get our bottle of wine (30 minutes). First hostess doesn't bring the wine bottle list. Then the wine we chose was out - how can they be out when the restaurant is new? Food was worth it and perfectly prepared.."
