Since opening in the fall of 2002, City Tavern has quietly become one of Kansas City's very best restaurants. City Tavern was an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary and we both loved it. Our waitress was so nice and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was outstanding! over all we had a great time and we will definitely be going back.

City Tavern is a wonderful restaurant. We try to get there at least once a month. Food is always delicious and we have never been disappointed in food or the wait staff. Excellent restaurant!

City Tavern has become my favorite restaurant in Kansas City. The variety of the menu and the perfection of the food at dinner or at lunch is the most consistent that I ave experienced. This chef never misses! Marry this to an ambiance that is unmatched in the central urban area and a surprising affordability and you have the perfect restaurant.

We have been here before and every time is wonderful.Never had a bad experience. Server always very helpful with questions on entree's would recommend to anyone that is up for a great dinning event.
