GrubMiddle Eastern taste hiding at GrubNice burger and fresh bun. My bacon as not as crisp as I had requested. Too much pasta in the mac and cheese, i.e., wasn't cheesy but pasta-y. The shrimp garbanzo salad had overcooked (rubbery) shrimp but the garbanzo beans were really flavorful. The beet salad was nice and fresh. We had a nice Dry Creek Vineyards Zin for half-price! Great deal. The server was very attentive.
I think Grub needs to work on its identity some more and focus on what it does best. There is a diner-style place with a middle eastern flare buried in there if the garbanzo beans in the shrimp salad was any indication. I'll bet his falafel would be great!6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMYum! The food was amazing I had the frittata and bottomless mimosas. Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice and helpful and they even gave us refills on mimosas even after we paid our check. Awesome place for brunch, and it wasn't too crowded. I had the Chilaquiles and it was freaking amazing. What really made this place awesome was your staff. I cannot for the like of me remember the gals face but she distinctively recognized my "more mimosa please!" face.
