"Been to Grub once before and enjoyed it. My daughter loved the mac & cheese bar, so we decided to go again. The pomme frites with truffle salt was fantastic. Second only to Zuni for best fries. The the entries were a bit bland this time around. I had the double cut pork chop. Well cooked, juicy, but underseasoned, which was a surprised because the fries I loved so much were, if anything, over seasoned. My son loved his burger."

"Great atmosphere. Great Service. Love presentation of food. Macaroni bomb! Asparagus bomb! Steak not good at all. It had no flavor, and please get rid of the sweet tasting white stuff under the steak."

"First of all, we showed early for our reservation and they were very pleasant and found us a seat shortly.

I had the burger and it was fantastic. My girlfriend ate the squash and it was enough for a meal. Also very tasty and sweet with the maple."

"Always solid, the burgers are so yummy, the mushroom fennel soup was delicious, and don't forget those truffle oil fries! Restaurant was a little cold, they need to turn on the heat when it gets cold out."

"The food started great with an excellent charred salad but then went straight down hill from there. The steak was just not seasoned at all and came out barely room temp because it seems like it was not timed right with the other entree. The "special" ravioli was pretty thick and chewey but the fillings were ok. The waiter was MIA for most of it and so we had to ask the hostess for some salt and pepper to fix the lack of seasoning on the steak. The decor was very odd to say the least. Wine choices were decent but nothing special. Some you can get at the grocery store. We have dined at many restaurants in the city and like to give newer places a try, but this one was a total miss."

"Great food, great service and a great place to meet friends for a meal together. Some friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable get together over Saturday brunch at Grub. The menu is varied enough and creative enough to provide some very tasty plates. The noise level was moderate enough to allow us to readily enjoy our conversation. I've already made reservations for our next brunch there. Same time, same place!"
