The prime rib was full of fat and the scallops were chewy. The manager was very nice and listened to our input and didn't charge us for one of the meals. She gave very good service. The food was fantastic. We had crab cakes, tomato and cheese salad, prime rib, jumbo shrimp. We enjoyed a complimentary desert from The Grove. That was a nice touch. It was somewhat noisy in the restaurant. There was a large group celebrating a birthday. And there was also two couples sitting near us that were loud. The decor is very welcoming and eclectic. We were seated immediately and our waitresss, Kathy, was excellent.
All food items were delicious and cooked exactly to order. During dinner the Food aand Beverage Director came to the table to check on us and. Asked how the meal was. Nice touch. My guests each tried a delicious steak and I tried the ravioli which was delicious. Just doesn't get any better. My son had a fillet mignon that could be cut with a fork and I again indulged in their "Cowboy Steak", a bone-in rib-eye, 2nd to none. Beyond a "King's Feast". Preceding the steak was an artichoke tray, served hot & with plenty of butter and followed by a bowl of their best in the world New England clam chowder. Timely served by an extraordinarily attentive Ray, the waiter. According to the Manager. A little on the loud side for me but otherwise very good. The manager did deduct our dessert and discounted the dinner for us. Very attentive.
