Service attentive and efficient.
Food mediocre at best, 3 of us same conclusion. Wanted to sit outside, as they have a beautiful setting. NO HEATERS! What, ever restaurant in the desert with outdoor seating has heaters for this time of year. Very surprised. The food has changed, very disappointed."

It is so nice to go to a
restaurant here you can actual talk to the people you are sitting with! The menu has a good variety (check out their 3 course specials!) and the food is not only presented nicely but it tastes great! We have always had really good service. The waiters are attentive and very pleasant. We love the atmosphere, service and food! That's hard to beat!"

We had a wonderful meal with
fabulous service at Artisan Kitchen in Indian Wells. Because we wanted to dine outside, our only complaint was the noise from the party at the upper level. Our food was delicious, the ambience magnificant and service impeccable. Next time we return, on our anniversary next month, we will look forward to a quieter dining experience."
Dined on 2/24/2014
The food was perfect, very tasty.
portion sizes were just the right amount. We went for Sunday brunch and there was a great menu as well as a nice buffet. Outdoor seating looked nice, although we ate inside due to warmth. Everyone at our table was very happy with their food. We will definitely be going back for our next get together."

The restaurant was beautiful and
the table where we were seated was great and romantic. My wife loved where the hostess sat us. I believe it was table 10. The food was great and the waiters were great."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Both our hostess, Wanda, and our
server, Andre, were very friendly, personable, professional with high standards of excellence. This was a romantic Valentine's Evening dinner. Wanda picked out a quiet corner table & the flowers I had arranged for were waiting for us at our table. Andre did a good job pacing our meal as requested. And the fixe price menu - a five course meal - was exceptional - every course outstanding. Great presentation & delicious! And a bargain at the price charged. One cocktails, the Hemingway Royale, was new to us and very tasty - light but not too sweet. Having rose petals on each table and red napkins added to the atmosphere. Only suggestion - place a rose on each table instead of the mini wheat stalks."

For a place to say they are
farm-to-table..i had very high expectations...being let down can't even come close to what I experienced here tonight. I live to EAT. I've been to a lot of nice places east to west coat to do just this....support local establishments, local farmers, supporting sourcing responsible. Eat what's in season. etc. i'm a top chef junkie.. really over salted scallops, rubbery cold bacon on my salad that seemed a left over bacon from lunch service. mac and cheese for the kids from store bought box? really guys? and all this for almost 100.00. Yuck, disappointed, waste of our time and money."

Gracious efficient service.
Fabulous Chilean sea bass. We enjoy both eating on the patio and inside. A welcoming place with great food."
Dined on 2/5/2014
Miramonte is always trying to
improve the food, menu selection and service. They aim to please! We had cheeseburgers which were good. The Cobb salad is not the traditional Cobb. I would stick with the cheeseburger! The french fries are very good!"
Dined on 2/4/2014
Delicious fresh food. Reasonable
for a hotel restaurant. Known to be a favorite with locals as well as hotel guests. I had the panko crusted sea bass and it was excellent as were the vegetables served as an accompaniment."
Dined on 2/4/2014
It was our first time at this
restaurant. We were very impressed with the food and the service. The ambiance was terrific. Would definitely return to this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone."

My wife and I celebrated her
birthday and our wedding anniversary at the hotel, spa and many meals at Grove Artisan Kitchen at Miramonte Resort. Our first meal was lunch the day we arrived; 2 different salads both excellent. Breakfast the first morning was wonderful, the Eggs Benedict for me and Egg White Burrito for my wife. Dinner was excellent - we both had the filet. Then another great lunch and breakfast. Service was impeccable and food outstanding. I highly recommend the restaurant and the entire resort. All of the staff were exceptional. We will return!"

I am suspect of restaurants
associated with hotels but this is a definite exception. I have eaten here in the past and was impressed. Being Christmas day there was not much open and I was willing to make allowances for this. The restaurant was very crowded and that did not raise my hopes. I was blown away however. They put on extra staff, had a prix fixe menu and a few other methods to handle the situation. My wife had a steak and I had sea bass. They both had excellent ingredients and were very well prepared. We were near the open kitchen and could see the organization and effort being brought forth. The whole experience was very nice and I would have to say I would certainly choose this restaurant on any day."

There were two families one with a
baby and the other with three 7 - 11 year olds and still the dining room was romantic. We had sea bass, halibut and salmon, all outstanding. The caesar salad and coffee were also good. The grounds are lovely for an after dinner stroll. We will go back, and SOON."
Dined on 12/24/2013
Located in the Miramonte Resort
and Spa, this is low keyed restaurant with excellent food and service and a fair price. The steak was one of the best we have had in the desert. The halibut was very tasty and well prepared. Good selection of choices for dinner. There are a variety of sides and very tasty."

Never disappoints, nice
atmosphere, food always very good."

I invited my girlfriend for her
birthday. Food and service was excellent. And we were suprised with a yummy chocolate lava mini cake for dessert!!"

This particular day, (Sunday
November 10, 2013) this restaurant staff simply was not on the ball. I chose this place for a patio brunch to celebrate 26 years of marriage to my bride. When I made the reservation, I clearly asked to be greeted with a warm Happy Anniversary. It did not happen, nor did it happen throughout the entire dining experience. To make matters worse....the service was not efficient or attentive at all. My wife's omelette was presented so well done, that I could have used it as a frisby, Literally. The only positive for this experience was the well maintained views of the gardens off the patio. I have NEVER written a formal review about a dining experience. However, this experience was so bad, I could not ignore it."

Everything is great here... You
will not be disappointed.."
Dined on 11/11/2013
Not up to our expectations since
we were having lunch at 2-3 PM. Halibut was dry; waiter suggeste I might prefer the Risotto to the Ravolio--NOT! Will be back again, but only if it is the correct time to eat; then we get the real chef and not his substitute!"
Dined on 11/6/2013
Although we have lived in the
Coachella Valley for 10 years, this was our 1st visit to this restaurant. We can't wait to go back. The food was superb, service great and the ambience wonderful."
Dined on 11/3/2013
the food was not bad but I would
not say it was outstanding. what was really not acceptable was the lack of service...over 5 min to get menus...then no water...ignored by server..no bread plates supplied..server lacked knowledge about wine list and didn't ask for help. not acceptable."
Dined on 10/20/2013
The food was very good. I had the
risotto which was somewhat bland but my husband's osso bucco was delightful. Dessert was very rich and tasty."
Dined on 10/7/2013
Grove Artisan Kitchen was just as
good as we remembered. An outside table on a mild evening, overlooking the mountains. Our server allowed us to enjoy our cocktails as requested, before taking our order. If you are sitting inside, then you can see the open kitchen and the chefs preparing everything. Food excellent - highly recommended."

We didn't even stay for the meal.
We arrived on time for a birthday dinner to realize that there was only one other table with diners. It was completely empty, which was a bit of a surprise. This would have been fine if it wasn't for the somewhat cold greeting we received from the waitress as she passed by. Basically, she just barked that she would be with us in a minute. This would have been OK if there was someone else who appeared to be working other than her. After waiting for a perplexed few minutes, and having a weird vibe about our first impression and interaction, our gut instinct told us that this was not going to turn out the way we had hoped. So we cut our losses and moved on to a more vibrant, attentive and enjoyable restaurant."

the staff is very nice and
attentive. Food is not great, but OK."

We have eaten in The Grove several
times. Always the service has been excellent and the food good. This was not the case Monday evening. The salmon wasn't fresh and the veggies were over-oiled. We had a new waiter, and he wasn't paying attention. He only stopped by once to see if we wanted anything. In general we were very disappointed."
Dined on 9/3/2013
Very lovely restaurant. Staff are
professional, pleasant. Food is outstanding."

Our party of four was very happy
with the casual, friendly atmosphere for the presentation of carefully thought out and prepared food. Each of our four entrees was distinctive - no automatic side of the same veggies on every plate. Especially noted was a salad of poached white asparagus, fresh grapefruit and spinach with a light and lively dressing - perfect! And a pork "osso buco" dramatically plated and with a wonderful accompaniment of less-often-used vegetables (also delicious the next day!) Can't wait to return! (Our friends go there often for breakfast but it was their first time for dinner too.)"

The Miramonte never stops trying
to get better - and they have succeeded! We had lunch with friends and everyone's meals were fantastic! The new table settings are elegant too! We ordered a hamburger, wedge salad, duck spring rolls and the cobb salad. All were gourmet and absolutely perfect in every way! Well done Miramonte!"

We were married here in 2005 and
make it a point to return for for romantic dinners and special occassions. A stroll around the grounds before or after dinner is a must to add to the ambiance."
Dined on 2/15/2013
Not only is the food to die for,
the staff is extraordinary! Every time I'd eaten there I've enjoyed every bite! :)"
Dined on 8/4/2013
The food was good but the horrible
service we received (forgot our food and argued about incorrect dessert being delivered) made for a very unpleasant experience. At the risk of having bad service again, we wouldn't go back."
Dined on 8/11/2013
My husband and I enjoyed our 1
year anniversary dinner here. The appetizer we chose was the calamari. Very tasty, not greasy! The menu had some great choices including fish, steak, salads.I chose the grilled salmon and root veggies. Very good except the veggies were a little more charred then I like. My husband got the filet minion with Yukon mashed potatos. He also enjoyed the temperature of the steak as well as the potatoes. We had the waitress pack our Creme brûlée with fresh berries to go so we could enjoy that later on our room. Overall a good experience."
Dined on 7/14/2013
The food was excellent but i don't
know that anyone would be able to eat a steak and mashed potatoes in a restaurant that was literally 80 inside due to the fact that the air conditioning was broken. So long story short i would have liked the courtesy of knowing that the air was broken before i sat down. My hot wine and growing guilt for making the waiter ask his boss to turn the air on 10 times finally resulted in my boyfriend and i leaving the restaurant with some steak knives and forks and our main courses in to-go boxes, headed for our air conditioned room. Otherwise i would say everything was great."

Superior service, scrumptuous
food, budget friendly specials, this place has it all! Chef Robert has won my attention and respect... And the staff really knows how to turn his vision into a great experience. Cant wait To go back!"
Dined on 6/28/2013
The restaurant was quiet and
peaceful. We had poached salmon which was delicious. The vegetables were unusual and wonderful. I believe they were white beets. I enjoyed the lavas very much. Our waiter was wonderful. He attended to our every need, and was most cordial and friendly. All and all, we were well pleased with our dining experience. We have eaten at The Grove many times and have always been happy with our meal and the atmosphere of the evening.."

A good restaurant at a resort
venue. Many kids, so quite noisy. Food was very good. Desserts were outstanding."
Dined on 6/16/2013
The Grove at Miramonte is the one
place that we can take guests and know, absolutely, that the food will be great, the environment lovely, and the staff attentive. We also appreciate the relative quiet, as we both have hearing issues and there is never any loud music! Best risotto ever, what I almost always order. Love it!"

Wanted to give this place a try
during Restaurant Week. Asked for Restaurant Week Menu but server didn't seem aware of it or wasn't encouraging it. We were shown the pre fixe menu which was reduced by a couple of dollars for this event. Limited selection was expected but when we went to order he told us they only had 3 filets left. We actually all wanted the filet. As we were placing our order the waiter yelled over to the open kitchen to get an update on the filets oops only 2 left now. We ordered the 2 remaining filets, a strip loin and I gave up totally and ordered the pork osso bucco. One of our party ordered scallops as an app and was then told that they were out of scallops too. Food that we did manage to get was not great either."
