"I am a former server and therefore have empathy for new trainees. However, even though we received a complimentary dessert because the appetizer did not arrive on time, we were never asked if we wanted dessert (we actually wanted to look at the menu, but we were brought some sort of white cake with strawberry stuff) --- never offered coffee. A note about the food. Scampi: The shrimp is sauted, never fried first. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The Pollo Francese was thin, hard and hardly any sauce -- no fresh lemon slices. Not worth the money."

"we found this restaraunt through a web site that had the top ten.....Located in the golden nugget the Grotto was authentic italian. The food was awesome and the service was supreme. Highly recommend..."

"Food and service were exceptional even though the restaurant was very crowded. This is not the place to go for a cozy quiet dinner but if well prepared seafood is waht you want, you can't beat Grotto's."
