The Hostess recommended a quiet table which was located in one of the rooms off the main dining room. There was a large table of 8 in the same room which very loud and we could barely hear each other at our table!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMJust great.Even though we went to the wrong location, we sorted that out and ended up at the right one. Tampa South is a preferred location for us since it is larger, wasn't as full and the noise level seemed more reasonable. The restaurant listened to my request for a quiet spot and we were in the best spot in that restaurant for low noise.
The food and service were simply excellent, with only one complaint which is that I don't care for that style of caesar salad. The Walker's Wood Shrimp was succulent. The Chilean Sea Bass simply melts in your mouth, it is that good. I wasn't sure which wine I wanted to drink so the waitress offered me the option of a small tasting of each so I could make a better decision. I like this feature of a restaurant. They cooked the steak extremely well. It was a perfect medium rare. The drinks were creative and delicious. The atmosphere was inviting and it seemed like they had a good crowd for happy hour as well. The bar is visually stunning and inviting - great place for a business lunch or special event. A little higher than most places, but everything lived up to my expectation of an above the average restaurant. The food is excellent and drinks are moderately priced and exceptionally well made.
