As part of the Westin Resort & Spa in Whistler, this restaurant suited us for a quick meal without leaving the hotel. The room is very big with little to recommend it. The food was quite good, though the tomatoe soup tasted like a can of Heinz soup - could of been, Buffett had just bought that day.

Overall a bit less than expected. The host was quite welcoming and accommodating. The additional vegetarian menu is nice. Two salads were wildly over salted and poor. The entrees were well received at the table. Service was OK. The room is very nice, spacious, and comfortable.

Great flavors in every dish .... each of us were reaching across the table trying up really tasty fare! It is rare for 3 Gluten Free diners to clean their plates of both appe's and main course ... Thanks to the knowledgeable serving staff and the creators of fine cuisine behind the counters ...

Our server was excellent and it was a pretty space. Food was ok - not as good as the meal we had at Umbertos.

Food was amazing. The chairs are very uncomfortable. Worth for the food and wine but not for the place (not cozy).

  • Unexcusable, Inattentive, Inedible!

My family and I had New Years Eve 6:15pm dining reservations with the dining room only full at this time. We were served a full course meal and upon delivery of each course there was NOT one follow up in between to ask or to make sure we were ok or in need of anything. I ordered a cocktail and never once offered another! My two girls and husband ordered Dr. Peppers and NOT once offered another! We all ordered the filet with an upcharge, my steak came out sliced and was so FULL of fat and gristle, clearly inedible! My husband had the same experience with his steak. My husband and I were offered our dessert and my 6 and 8yr old ignored until we called the waiter back to the table. The manager never followed up regarding mention of the steak!

We really enjoyed the superb service from all the staff, especially our server who paid special attention to our kids throughout our evening and even brought her personal "I spy" books to keep them occupied as we finished our meals. We were surprisingly pleased with the complimentary kids meal (per adult meal purchased), as well, our server automatically brought veggies for the kids to munch on while waiting. We enjoyed the calm atomosphere, the food, the service, and will definitely be back again!
