  • "The food was unbelievable and priced within reason for a high end restaurant. The wine I though was a bit on the over priced side as they range around the 18-20 per glass for 6 oz. the house wine was available though for 12 $ per glass. I highly recommend the stuffed figs, side of harvest vegetables, steel head fish and poached pear! Amazing!"

  • "Had to take an early reservation since there was nothing available for the time we wanted but once we got there the place was half empty. The server was less than friendly in fact quite surly. It was advertised as Fine Casual however was really meant for families. Was way overpriced for what you got. Wouldn't recommend it for adults / couples looking for a not too expensive dinner in Whistler. The food however was quite good but was overshadowed by the overall experience."

  • "This restaurant is situated inside the Westin by the shops close to Whistler village. The restaurant has plenty of space and is set for groups as well as smaller parties. Our party had 3 of the pizza's that were cooked in the stone pizza oven and tasted absolutely magical. The wine list was impressive as was the cocktail list. This restaurant offers something for everyone in the family."

  • "we were anxious to try this spot because of the wine program and interesting menu unfortunately, service was inattentive and disinterested the food was okay but not special the wood fired pizza crust was institutional - not chef created the eggplant spread provided with the flat bread app tasted like bottled pasta sauce the worst problem came with the oysters...we were offered two varieties. when delivered to the table, a different server brought what they had, not what we ordered. to make matters worse, the bivalves were room temperature the room, the wine equipment and the overall concept have potential - but the staff is under trained and not fully invested in the experience."

  • "Host seating was not done well, lack of acknowledgement upon arrival. Service was slow and disappointing. Not prepared at all for speed of service. It took us 1 hour to get our food from the time we ordered it. Our server came by once to tell us they were plating up our food. 30 minutes later we had to flag the manager down and ask her where it was. We let management know there was an issue and they didn't do anything about it. We even let the concierge know and they didn't do anything but encourage us to write this review. We highly recommend you go to one of the other restaurants in the area. As part of our stay at the hotel we had free breakfast each morning, the service never got any better."

The server was very nice but the service was slow. 4 of us ordered meat dishes that we were happy with and 2 ordered pizza that had great topping but the pizza crust was tough to chew. The highlight was the truffle mac and cheese and I have already been back for more. The wine selection and single glass serving options are fantastic and we enjoyed the merlot from Burrowing Owl."

  • "I was very excited as a local to try this new restaurant. Everything seemed to fall short - my quinoa salad was undercooked and my boyfriends soup was so small it took him 4 bites to eat it all... Apart from the manager i didnt really recieve any other service. For $12 that's highway robbery! The wine list was fantastic, and it was great to see whistlers first enomatic wine system. Will definitely try again once the crazy Christmas period is over, as I believe this restaurant does have great potential."

Someone else served us - I had to get up three times to ask for steak knives, more water, and condiments. I also had to ask for the bill. For the price of the menu items I expected much more attentive service. This is a fine dining steak house, not a cafe."

We are looking for a replacement for La Rua, so having people walking through the restaurant in their bathrobes, on the way to the pool, didn't really do it for us.   • "We have dined here a few times now during our visits to Whistler. The food has never disappointed, everyone is genuine and friendly and our server Pauline during our last 2 visits was superb. She really pays attention to details and puts in the extra effort in trying to make our dining experience seamless with our two little boys. The kids were spoiled with a fine dining dish (unlike some other restaurants who obviously puts less time and effort into kids meals) as were my husband and I - we will definitely be back again!"

  • "My family and I had New Years Eve 6:15pm dining reservations with the dining room only full at this time. We were served a full course meal and upon delivery of each course there was NOT one follow up in between to ask or to make sure we were ok or in need of anything. I ordered a cocktail and never once offered another! My two girls and husband ordered Dr. Peppers and NOT once offered another! We all ordered the filet with an upcharge, my steak came out sliced and was so FULL of fat and gristle, clearly inedible!My husband had the same experience with his steak. My husband and I were offered our dessert and my 6 and 8yr old ignored until we called the waiter back to the table. The manager never followed up regarding mention of the steak!"
