A word from Greg's Grill
Owners Greg & Teresa Hubert opened Greg's Grill in the spring of 2007. Their long history in the restaurant industry and passion for excellent service and great food led them to create a beautiful restaurant that reflects their high standards and attention to detail.
Situated in the heart of the historic Old Mill District of Bend Oregon, Greg's Grill sits amidst the bustle of movie theaters, art galleries and restaurants.
A lively place for any occasion, it offers a variety of foods with an emphasis on contemporary Northwest cuisine to include rotisserie prime rib, choice-cut steaks, seafood, and chicken cooked to perfection over our apple-wood and mesquite fired grill.
Inside, Northwest style architecture utilizes natural materials and floor-to-ceiling windows, which overlook beautifully landscaped patios, the Deschutes River and the Cascade mountain range. Greg's Grill is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy good times with friends and family.

All things considered, our recent dinner was simply ok, being marred by the wait staff being understaffed. Our waiter totally forgot our appetizer, for example, and we never saw him again until half way through our meal. The staff is great when they're not busy though."

  • "I chose to eat here because of the care they give to their gluten free customers. I ordered the salmon from the gluten free menu but it came without the sauce. When I asked about it, they informed me that they had switched brands of soy sauce and did not have any gluten free sauce. When I asked for an alternative they reported not having any gluten free sauces. The chef proceeded to make me a homemade sauce from scratch. It was amazing! It was so nice to realize how much they care....and this was on a busy Saturday night at dinner time. Thanks for making it a wonderful experience. We will continue to dine here as they are one of our favorites in Bend!!"

Ordered medium rare and received prime rib that had been put on the flat iron making it med well. Great flavor but not what was ordered. Did not return because main course was already late coming out. Restaurant needs management that can take it to the level that matches the setting."

However this time was a huge disappointment. Food was took forever and was cold upon arrival...the kids meals finally showed up as the adults were finishing...and service was lackluster... Since we have had good experiences there before, we will for sure give them another shot..."

My wife ordered the salmon and it was a little undercooked for her liking, but Chandler went and got her an entirely new entre! The atmosphere was vibrant, but not in an overbearing way. I also liked the fact that you could get half orders on some items. Our server was very upbeat and friendly. Wonderful ambience and views are wonderful. It was New Years eve and every table was full so the noise level was up a little, however, the music in the background was loud - would have been nice to ;hear some soft jazz .   • "We celebrated our parent's 50th wedding anniversary at Greg's. We had never been to Greg's before but thought we would try it based on the reviews, menu and variety of pricing. Our server, Michael, was very welcoming, answered all our questions and provided great service throughout the meal. The restaurant decor was beautiful especially with all the holiday decorations and lighting. The noise level was a bit high and with our table of 8, it was hard for everyone to hear a conversation at either end of the table. My husband had the lamb shank special that evening and it was the best lamb I've ever tasted! We will be back!"

The weather outside was in the below zero category and yet they were quite accommodating allowing us to enjoy a warm beverage out by the fire pit, facing the river. We enjoyed the beauty of the freshly fallen snow, the views all around and the genuine hospitality of the staff. This is now our spot and any other eatery will just not do. Truly a blessing, thank you to everyone for a memory that will be a lifetime source of joy!"

  • "Our reservation was for 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Others who came after use were seated first, even though there were several tables for 2 empty. The waiter was rushed, drinks slow, soup mediocre and before we finished putting our spoon down our entrees were served. The best part of the entree was the cranberry sauce. There was lots of food it just didn't have any taste, the sides were boring. The pumpkin pie was cold with a poor crust. Coffee or tea was never suggested to accompany our dessert. All in all it was an expensive T-day dinner out with a fast food diner experience. We were back in our car at 5:20, Our only reason to return will be to enjoy a drink in the summer and watch the sunset. We will not return for food."

  • "Made a reservation through Open Table and the staff were able to accomodate my request for a window/river view table with no problem. We arrived early, so went to the bar for a cocktail and were treated exceptionally well by Dan. The ambiance is that of an Alaskan lodge. It is an enormous open space with exposed beams and rock work. It was a Saturday night (7pm) and the noise level was on the high end. The Calamari appetizer was tender and delicious. Both our chicken and steak plates were well prepared. They are a Carb-heavy restaurant (bread, rice, potato) but the broccolli served with both our meals was fresh and not overcooked. It was my birthday and the staff sent a complimentary dessert that I would have gladly paid for...super yum!"
