Now, some seven years later, we still look forward to our visits, always curious to see what they've come up with. This last visit was no exception. As a vegan-pescatarian couple, our tastes don't align completely, but they're close enough. My wife loved her spicy five bean soup and lentil loaf, while I thoroughly enjoyed my polenta and chocolate mousse. We both loved the maitake mushroom and kimchi side dish. The service was also excellent. We went twice during our four-day visit to Chicago. We enjoyed the specialty drinks, including non-alcoholic. My husband was disappointed with the risotto - it doesn't stand up to everything else on the menu. And, our other regret was discovering, after we had eaten it, that the chocolate dessert for two was "non-vegetarian." Surely there is a solution to this - either modifying the ingredients or making sure patrons are aware. We would not have ordered it.
