We made it clear to the server the mistake and he assured us they would refire the entr=s but our entres must have been placed under heat lamp. Our server seemed to keep laughing our displeasure off. So at this point we don't feel comfortable recommending. Given the number of "managerial types" walking around, there should have been more attention to detail."

We wanted an enjoyable dinner to celebrate my aunts bday and had people vacuuming around us for closing time as we had our main course at 9 p.m. Additionally, I had asked the restaurant twice for them to bring a candle along with dessert to surprise my aunt, when dessert came there was no candle and no happy birthday. I wasn't impressed, fortunately I've been to this restaurant many times and have had better service...hopefully this was a one off..."

  • "The dining experience on Saturday evening was quite unsatisfactory ... the wine I ordered was returned as it had obviously been opened for a period of time. I ordered the scallops and they were served overcooked to the point of several being burned. Manager brought a replacement small plate and at no time apologized for the poor food and wine. I have nevered needed to return any item served to me at the Green Valley Grill so to have to return both my wine and dinner was terrible. I had brought a friend to dinner there as I could always depend on the quality of food served. I will need to rethink that thought."

However, it was a bit loud, and we would have prefered a booth as we reserved ahead. Instead, we were seated at a table with a lot of traffic around us. Also, the special rib-eye was served well-done, not medium rare as ordered. For the price, it would be nice if they could be a little more attentive to our needs, esp on a mid-week evening."

  • "I went there with a friend last Thursday. The menu was more attractive than usual and all the seasonal specials made it hard to choose. My friend and I decided we'd share the tomato sampler, grilled bruschetta and vegetable flatbread. We loved the mix but could not finish them since we were hoping for dessert - the buttermilk pound cake w berries and peach ice cream was 3X larger than expected another item not finished I took it home for 2 more breakfasts. For wine we chose the Santa Rita Hills Gina Gallo Signature Series Pinot Noir (the first Gallo I've enjoyed in at least 30 years), it had the typical softness and depth that I enjoy in other SRH Pinots -it too was perfect! Of course the service was as good as the meal and the wine!"

  • "Having made reservations several weeks in advance I expected a better table. We felt like we were in the middle of a freeway! There appeared to be lots of servers but ours took way too long to show up and was quite ambivalent. He never told us his name(I did get it from my receipt), I had to ask him about the specials which he read off his notes. He never refilled our water or asked if we wanted more wine. A different waiter brought our food and checked on us. Our original waiter showed up to present the check and tell us to "have a good night". Not the kind of service I expected. Food was too salty. Bread, pound cake, and Malbec "by the glass" were excellent!"
