I've found that even in upscale establishments, the food is often sub-par. Great Street was definitely not in this category. The decor is wonderful, the wait staff superb, the river view phenomenal, and the food fantastic! Began with a long island ice tea---perfect blend of liquors. Then we had the goat cheese appetizer---DELICIOUS! If I hadn't been so excited to try other foods, I would have ordered a second! Main course(s) were day boat scallops and grilled salmon (respectively). The salmon was tender and moist and amazing. The scallops were perfect and very obviously fresh! We really wanted to have dessert, but were far too full from all the other delicious food.1/26/2013 12:00:00 AM
