A word from Graziella's Brooklyn
In May of 2004, Vito Randazzo and father-in-law, Louis Devivo, converted an empty garage space into Fort Greene's most authentic Italian restaurant. At Graziella's, we believe in using quality ingredients and serving up great portions. We take our name from Vito's Sicilian mother, and some of her original recipes can even be found on the menu (like her amazing chickpea panelle). Our famous pizzas start with Italian flour and tomatoes, then bake in a 100% wood-burning brick oven. With 11 pizzas to choose from, there's something for everyone, but you won't want to miss our other dishes: the Mediterranean grilled octopus is a menu favorite, as is the eggplant rollatini, and if you want fish it's delivered here daily.

We're a family-owned, family-friendly restaurant, and a great spot for groups or private parties up to 80 people. From May through September, you can even dine on our charming rooftop patio, complete with great views of the city.

Diner Reviews
  • "Slow service, there was one other table when we arrived and we had to remind them to seat is us and ask to have drink order taken. Food slow to arrive and one guest received meal as others were finishing. Appetizer plates weren't removed until dinner was over. Extremely loud. Food ok but not worth the trouble of dining in. Good for delivery only."

  • "I enjoy Graziella's and wanted to share this gem with friends. Friends loved it - from the appetizers (mussels and calamari), through dinner (specials of wahoo) and of course the cannolis. Service was great. "

  • "We had a wonderful time celebrating graduation with a big group. Our waitress was fantastic, she made sure she had all the orders correct, and constantly checked in on us without being intrusive. It was too cold to sit outside, but the upstairs balcony looked nice. The restaurant is tucked away on a quite block, so there is not too much traffic, either cars or humans, to be distracting. The food was delicious and portions were generous. I would definitely go back. "

  • "We've brought our kids to Graziella's multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The food is excellent and the service is always good. We've sampled everything from the various pizzas to the tasty pasta dishes. Recommended appetizer would be the Sicilian Rice Balls made with shredded meat and fresh mozzarella - the best I've ever tried."

  • "We were staying in Brooklyn for Mother's Day weekend. Graziella's had a nice menu and an easy walk from our hotel. The waiter warned us that it could be slow due to some large tables, to be expected maybe on Mother's Day weekend. We said no worries that we were not in a hurry, that may have been a mistake... That said food was great, staff were friendly and cheerful. Owner should have added staff for a busy weekend. "

  • "We love Graziella's so much (food is outstanding) we decided to dine yet again at Graziella's. We made reservations using Open Table with no issues. When we arrived at Graziella's the restaurant was packed, as a private party was going on. I mentioned we had reservations and the manager apologized stating they tried to call all reservations made on open table. I did not receive a call, but without hestition, the manager asked is we would stay, have a bottle of wine on him while waiting about a half hour for a table. We decided to stay and actually dined at the bar - wine, service and food was outstanding. What a great manager - diffused a potential issue and we were all winners. BTW - did I say the food was excellent."

  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants - amazing, unpretentious Italian food - a rarity in Brooklyn! I take my family, friends, and everyone here - and love to come for a casual dinner too. Good prices, nice people and delish - what a gem!"

  • "My friends and I returned to Graziella's since we had such a great meal on our last visit. Once again, Graziella's was right on point. We started with mussels and the meatball special, served with warm ricotta - yummy then we dined on the Black Fish and Pork Silvia, both were delicious. We ended the evening with the cannoli and tartufo. I knew before I even walked into Graziellas that I was going to have the cannoli for dessert. Also to make the night even better Andrew was our server, he remembered us from prior visits to Graziellas. He is very pleasant, attentive, but not over the top attentive, and he is helpful with menu selections. We are looking forward in the near future to another great dining experience at Graziellas."

  • "I had made a reservation at this restaurant because of the reviews I read online. While the ambiance was not quite what I expected, the service was great and the food was excellent. Seems like this would be a great place to take a family, though it's not quite intimate enough for a date night. Would highly recommend the pizza or ravioli, both are made from scratch and are cooked to perfection!"

  • "in the middle of Vanderbilt Avenue, on the edge of the Fort Greene neighborhood is a warm, well lit happy place full of locals of all ages, incomes, couple combinations and ethnicities- the essence of Brooklyn. The bar area is large + welcoming, the tin ceiling dining room has posters of pop stars of the 50's + 60's. The food is eclectic and delicious with large portions. In particular, the grilled octopus was so soft and tasty that it made ordering an entree superfluous. But we managed to have 2 mini-pizzas anyway. The first was a tomato+basil, full of sauce and fresh mozzarella- other was full of sweet sausage, mushrooms and roasted onions- delicious! A happy and welcoming place with big portions and good food- go see for yourselves!"

  • "Never have been to Brooklyn, but were in town for New Years Eve concert at Barclays Center and wanted to find an Italian place for pre-concert and Anniversary dinner. Graziella's popped up on my open table app, so we took a chance and booked a table for two. We knew we had made a great choice as soon as we walked in. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We had a drinks at the great bar area since we arrived early and then had a fantastic meal at our table. Started with grilled octopus followed by pizza and pasta. Just a great evening from start to finish. Not sure when we will be back in NYC, but plan to make our way back to Brooklyn and Graziella's when we do."

  • "We ate here on NYE prior to seeing a concert at the Barclays Center. The service was terrific and the restaurant was within walking distance to the Barclays Center. The pasta dishes were ok and the hanger steak special was drowned in a sauce which was way too thick (too much flour, not enough flavor) and way too much salt. If they grilled the steak and left off the sauce it would have been far better then was served. Overall experience was ok. The pizzas however looked terrific, and that may be worth returning for. The crowd was pleasant and the service was terrific!"

  • "I have dined at Grazielle's numerous times and each time the food and service is right on par. Dined at Graziella's on Friday evening, only and our only compliant was the bread portions. The bread is delicious and the mussel are outstanding, However in order to really enjoy the mussels, one needs bread - had to ask several times as they kept forgetting to bring a bit more. Back to all the good stuff, mussels - fabulous, lamb shank (special) - delicious, and words cannot describe the cannoli. Highly recommended."

  • "Since moving to the neighborhood about 6 mos ago, this has become our go to place. The food is fabulous, the staff excellent, and when we recently went with a large group on a Sat night we were allowed to linger at our table long after we finished our meal; and they deliver!"

  • "I have dined at Graziellas on numerous occasions. The food is always consistently delicious. This time for dessert we had the canollis. All I can say is OMG the canola is we're the best I had. Excellent dinner once again. Can't wait to go back."

  • "Stopped for a late dinner after a show. The octopus and rice ball starters were interesting and good. Regular margarita pizza was excellent, but the gluten-free version was undercooked and not very tasty. Broiled salmon was well prepared and the chocolate lava cake was excellent. The restaurant is a good walk from the center of Brooklyn and is located in a residential neighborhood. Would have been fine except for some very loud tables where the people were almost screaming at each other all night. This made for a generally unpleasant experience which we will not repeat."

  • "We came here for brunch (on the roof deck) to celebrate a birthday and had a great experience from beginning to end. I'm not sure what the usual crowd is like as it was a holiday weekend and the restaurant was a bit quiet. The wait staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. The food was flavorful, fresh and generous with the portions. We weren't a fan of the Chickpea Panelle, but absolutely loved everything else. Our favorite was definitely the 4 Cheese & Pear Fiocchi. I can't wait to order this again. For dessert I had the Cannoli and it may be one of the best I've had; crispy shell and rich, smooth ricotta with the perfect sweetness."

  • "This was the first restaurant I ever ate at in Brooklyn. I had heard great things about the pizza, so I was fairly confident that I'd have at least a decent experience. Instead, I had an incredible experience. I ordered a 12 inch pizza with meat toppings, which was among the best pizzas I have ever had. I also ordered a caesar salad, which was as authentic as possible. The service was quick and attentive, and everything from the water to the bread added to the dining experience. I would encourage anyone going to Brooklyn to come to Graziella's. I made the trip from midtown Manhattan and would do so again."

  • "Graziella's is a neighborhood staple. They offer their rooftop deck as a dining option. Growing dinner party of 14 was quickly accommodated. Table ordered pene vodka (sauce is too thin) grilled shrimp accompanied w/ pasta was popular as well as several thin crust pizzas from their wood burning oven. Quality dining for a quick, fun evening."

  • "The food at Graziella's was excellent and reminded one of a traditional Italian Trattoria. Everything was very authentic and the thin crust pizza was absolutely amazing. The Arugula and Parmesan pizza practically had a dinner salad on top of it but was peppery and full of flavor. We sat on the outside deck which had a great breeze and comfortable seating. Service was a little slow but the place was packed. We will be back again."

  • "I quickly found this place on Yelp before we left Bushwick to go to Fort Greene for a show at BAM. We arrived at around 615 on Saturday and got seated right away. The waitress and staff were all very nice. The wine that we had was great. The caesar dressing was delicious, as was all of the food we had. My mom got the chicken marsala and I had a bite and wished I had gotten it. We were short on time but I will definitely go back!"

  • "The staff is so cool, friendly and welcoming! Hostess, bar staff and servers know how to make guests feel like long lost friends. Went for a quick bite with friends before Alicia Keys concert, (at Barclays), arrived 45 minutes late, and still receved generous attention and food suggestions. Try the pizza with clams and the house-special calamari. Will definitely be back!"
