Reputation is deserved, food is prepared well, wait staff attentive if hurried. Meats are offered either off a gas grille or off the spits hanging over a beautiful wood fire by the front door. The latter I cannot recommend. On two visits, my parties ordered 8 times off the wood grille, every cut of meat offered except chicken, and without exception the meat was dry, and the portions meager. Add to that the rough way in which they are cut, and there is very little meat to justify the $30+ cost of the entrees. There is also an elusive lamb specialty dish on the menu, of which they were out on both occasions, even at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night when we were assured it's availability when making a reservation.

I like their steaks a lot! Price is reasonable and they have a nice selection of Argentine wines. It is a relaxed neighborhood restaurant with friendly service. I like the Bird Road location, because the restaurant is roomier and the atomosphere is more Argentine than the Coral Gables branch.
