  • Good food, but....

Service was well below expectations for the prices. It's located in the Marriott hotel and it feels like it. The atmosphere doesn't feel like you're in a nice restaurant, but rather a hotel lobby. The service wasn't bad, but for what we paid for dinner, I expect a different level. For the price, if you're a local, just go to Ryan's and get great food, service, and atmosphere.

The food is worth the trip but the greeting is lackadaisical and uneven. Maybe due to the hotel setting there does not seem to be any hosting procedure so the Open Table reservation fell thru the cracks. The makeover of this spot is a welcome change and the food is very good if somewhat small portions, but that is what tapas is all about if you are not looking for a huge meal. Will give this one another shot down the pike.

Hosted a group of 19 people here last weekend. The food was good, nice selection. Bread in baskets was a bit stale, though. Service left a lot to be desired. Were some really long waits in between the sections of the meal.

Our daughter with Dining Competition recommended I try Graze. The experience was a lovely one and I am looking forward to being back soon. Mahi BLT was terrific. Also great was the mozzarella tomato flatbread. Good job ! The contemporary interior design is very well done. I love the upholstered banquettes. A very "feel good" atmosphere.

This restaurant can't decide what it is going to be. TV's at every booth and scattered around the room, people walk through...going somewhere else in the hotel, bright lights...no ambiance. Food was okay but we won't return.

  • Easter brunch turned to lunch

My family and I were looking for a child friendly place that offered an Easter brunch and a visit with the Easter Bunny. We were very lucky to find Graze in Downtown Winston Salem. The buffet not only offered brunch but a full lunch. Everything from the fruit tray to the carving station to the chocolate cake was exceptional. The Easter Bunny visited every table and was very patient to allow us to get pictures with our children and the entire family. The staff was very kind and we were even able to move our reservation up when we got there early. I think we have added a new family tradition to our calendar.

For the price of brunch, there was not a large selection of food. What was offered was not hot, the desserts were out too long and were dried out. The chocolate cake was hard.
