  • "I dined at Graze with several friends. Our waiter was wonderful and the the booth was cozy and fun. We had a great dinner. The Fried Green Tomatoes were wonderful and the apple cobbler was divine!"

  • "My family and I were looking for a child friendly place that offered an Easter brunch and a visit with the Easter Bunny. We were very lucky to find Graze in Downtown Winston Salem. The buffet not only offered brunch but a full lunch. Everything from the fruit tray to the carving station to the chocolate cake was exceptional. The Easter Bunny visited every table and was very patient to allow us to get pictures with our children and the entire family. The staff was very kind and we were even able to move our reservation up when we got there early. I think we have added a new family tradition to our calendar. "

  • "For the price of brunch, there was not a large selection of food. What was offered was not hot, the desserts were out too long and were dried out. The chocolate cake was hard. "

  • "We went for Valentines Day meal, and dropped close to $100 for their four course meal that they advertised. The appetizer and bread was best part of meal. Our server was overworked and not good at his job. He did not bring courses out in order and would not have brought our salads out had we not mentioned that we had the entree before the salad. My water glass was never replenished. When I called attention to the error, he apologized but didn't address it in any way. Manager did not come over. The drinks were included in overall price they charged us for our drinks then took it off when I pointed out the error. However when we checked our bank card they went back and charged a 2nd charge for the drinks added it on after we signed the bill."

  • "Often hotel dining is less than great but this is not the case with WS Prime. Many people don't know about it or haven't tried it because they think it can't be good in a hotel. So wrong - it's very upscale food - they have a great chef and a wonderful menu. try it, you'll like it!"

  • "WS Prime was one of the few places open on Christmas day. They offered a special 4-course dinner. Portions and choices were excellent -- an outstanding price fixe value! We had an exceptional server that evening (Vinton) who made this special occasion even more special."

  • "We had reservations and were seated OK, even thought we did not know renovations were underway. We were seated for quite a while before we received drinks and seated for an hour before we got the first bowl of soup. That was only after complaining to the manager. We had out of town guest and they did not want to be there all night for dining. The food and portions we received were not in line with the high price we paid. This was not up to Marriott standards and we were very disappointed."

  • "Wonderful menu and great food at a fair price. Felt a little rushed and the remodeling took away from the mood. But overall a great experience."

  • "We have been attending Thanksgiving there for 3 years now. We use to go to the Sherwood. We bring our 2 young children and we all enjoy it very much. Please continue this event. Everything is always outstanding. We also love the beautiful plants at your facility. Don't change a thing and thank you."

  • "This was the first time we ever went to the Thanksgiving Buffet but it will not be the last. The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will recommend the restaurant. I wish all waitstaff was as courteous and efficient as the one we had - did not get her name. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable experience. Sincerely, Debbie Shelton"

  • "Over the past week while we were in Winston-Salem we enjoyed this restaurant so much that we returned for a second visit. This restaurant in many cases surpasses the other local eateries. Additionally, there is free on site parking which is a good side benefit especially in times questionable winter or summer weather. We have now dined at this restaurant several times over the past year and each time our party of three or more was pleased all of the servings. I travel extensively. This is not the standard Hotel variety, but rather several notches above that. The chef knows what he's doing. The food is consistently good. I would recommend this restaurant to any traveler or any local resident of the Winston Salem NC area."

  • "I ordered the 10 oz filet but was served two small 5 oz steaks instead."

  • "The meal was disappointing. Both of our dishes, the rib eye and the scallops were over salted. The service was just so so. There are better steak houses in Winston."

  • "Staying at the hotel for the weekend decided to try the restaurant after traveling all day. Atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. The food was very good but our server was lacking experience. Served a martini ordered in a short glass. Bartender had made it in a martini glass but waiter thought I would like it in a short glass. Have know idea why he thought that. Had to ask for bread. Told us the salad we ordered for an appetizer was enough to split between two girls. It was literally 3-4 bites each when split. Aside from the service the food was very good. May try it again but with reservation."

  • "Food and service were both great. We seemed to be the only folks in the restaurant (7pm Friday), so it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend to others if you are looking a quiet dining experience, as well as for the food."

  • "This restaurant was hitting on all cylinders. Although there were more people at the bar being loud, It was very inviting. The service was great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the wine list and the food. The salads were very refreshing, and the bread had three different types of spreads. The food was amazing. I had the trout, my wife had the scallops. There was more than enough for us. We topped it off with a red velvet cupcake. It was my wife's birthday so they give us an extra red velvet cupcake for free. This was very surprising and appreciated. We will be returning to this restaurant. In the meantime we are going to recommend this to all of our friends."

  • "I went for a graduation lunch and absolutely loved it! The food has unique touches that makes the food stand out and portions are perfectly sized. The large windows made the setting perfect for the luncheon and service was great!"

  • "My husband, daughter and I went to Mother's Day Brunch thinking the Buffet would be great. I had faoled to ask the price per person and when I got the bill I was astounded! The cost for three was not worth the food which was mediocre at best."

  • "Mothers Day Brunch... Not enough basic vegetables. The adults were constantly getting the EXCELLENT green beans from the kids area!"

  • "Appetizer better than entree. The chefs interpretation of shrimp and grits did not appeal to me but the dish was prepared well. Atmosphere here is below average. The space is huge and serves multiple purposes for the hotel and as such leaves a bit to be desired as a dinner spot. Service was good but a bit too attentive. Our server seemed bored and spent a little too much time making conversation. We might try WS Prime again but there are better choices in DTWS."

  • "We went to WS Prime for our anniversary. I ordered the beef tenderloin steak, ordering it medium well. The steak arrived well beyond well done. I sent the $40 steak back asking for it to be more like medium. After waiting 25 minutes for a new one, 40% of the steak was just shy of well done, 30% was well done, and 30% was completely indelible. There was no apology made, eventually the manage came by to ask how the new steak was. After explaining my frustration, the manager said "hmm, we usually undercook and have the opposite problem" and walked off. There were no price concessions for either making me wait 25 minutes for a new steak or for serving am completely inedible steak TWICE. Completely unacceptable for this type of restaurant."

  • "Nearly empty on Thursday night. Got answering machine at 4:30 to confirm reservation. Waited almost 5 minutes at entrance before someone appeared. Waited 10 minutes only to be informed they didn't have the wine we ordered. Would not recommend to anyone."

  • "Good food, decent service, high prices. I haven't paid that much and received that little in a long time. Portion size was average, quality was good, and taste was good, but I could have gone to several different restaurants and had better food and atmosphere for less money."
