Graze - Charleston2nd time around even better than 1sWell for the $ this is one of the the best places in town. We dig the Chicken n Waffle dish... pretty much a signature dish for them. I got into the Chicken Livers with Brussels Sprouts with was more a meal than a small plate. The jumbo Lump Crab Cake was indeed one of the BEST around as Madison our waitress stated. My wife had the cauliflower and pistachio soup and I had a glass of Perin Cotes-de-R wine. All for less than $60 and we took some doggy bags home. Got to give em really high marks, because of the sheer value of what they offer with top notch excitement on the taste buds. All in a low key non-food-snob way of doing it right.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat mealGroup of 4 - one vegetarian, 1 gluten free, 2 meat eaters - delicious meal for all. Fantastic mushroom pasta dish, great fish taco's, delectable wreckfish entree's!! Wish they offered a couple more vegetarian options, but nice service, vibe, and overall experience.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBest value in CharlestonWe visit charleston three or four times per year. Graze is always on the agenda. This visit my wife had the shrimp carbonara. I had the wild mushroom papperdelle. Both were prepared to perfection. The wine list covers a wide range of pallets and is very fairly priced. Service was and has always been most attentive without crossing into that hovering sensation. We can't wait to return. Best combination foodie/value place in C'ton.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMChicken & Waffle is an A++Got to brag about the Fried Chicken and Maple Syrup covered Waffle. It is a whole meal... entree and dessert all wrapped up in one. Very well done on the Southern Fried Chicken (not at all heavy or greasy). The Belgian Waffle is a fine touch. Our waitress was super great. Carrie was most kind and came up with top notch recommendations for dinner. We are sure to be back time and again. Note: Make reservations, place is jamming busy.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent and HappyGraze is excellent. Whenever we go, my wife and I have very high expectations and Graze's always exceeds our expectations. The wait staff is very efficient and informative. They are also happy people, fun to be with. Food and service is always outstanding and wine list is also very much in keeping with fine restaurants throughout Charleston area.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMDoesnt look like much, butDoesnt look like much, but was absolutely wonderful food. Definitely will return!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe try to dine at Graze everyWe try to dine at Graze every time we are in Mount Pleasant. The space is open and inviting. We usually enjoy splitting many of the smaller plates but this time decided to opt for salad and a dinner entree. My husband had the crab cake which was delicious and I went with the Fish & Chips. It was also wonderful. I should have asked for Malt Vinegar as that would have perfected the dish. All in all a great dining experience and we will certainly be back.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNice find!Interesting menu, great attentive service, reasonable prices, with a fairly good wine list. For me, this restaurant will be replacing some of the old standards where the quality is declining.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great time, and theWe had a great time, and the food was well-prepared. The bartender was our server, and she was a bit busy, so it took awhile to order, but we weren't in any hurry, so it wasn't a big deal. I drink Ketel/soda with no fruit, and so many bartenders give me fruit out of habit, despite me looking them in the eyes and requesting NO fruit. This one got it! Always a huge plus for me.
The lobster mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, but the others in our party liked it. I had the beet salad and the mussels, both of which were well-seasoned, presented and tasty. Another had the blue cheese encrusted beef tenderloin - YUM. The special scallops were also on our table, and I thought they were fantastic. Thanks!4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAs before, food was very goodAs before, food was very good and that's why we came back for more, with friends. Reasonably priced and nice way to spend a Friday evening.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMMy hubs had chicken & wafflesMy hubs had chicken & waffles and loved it!!! i had the fish & chips and they were amazing. Not to mention the berry butter that is served with the rolls. Amazing!! and the appetizer pommes frittes...the best!! we will definitely go again.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMNice overall experienceMy husband and I ate here recently for our weekly date night. We were looking for nice low country cuisine without having to travel downtown. The restaurant is very small but tastefully decorated. The bar was very popular during happy hour, and the drink specials looked like a bargain. I ordered the fish specialty dish of the night while my husband ordered a steak dish. Both were cooked well. Not the most spectular meal I've had in Charleston but a nice place to go if you're looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulousThis was the best meal we had during our two week vacation! The menu is interesting with fresh new items and the chef is a genius!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my 2nd time at GrazeThis was my 2nd time at Graze and I've enjoyed both times. The menuWe had a super meal. The menu had MANY wonderful dishes that sounded delicious and were fresh, local choices. The salad we had was excellent. We both had (different) beef entrees that were fabulous! Save room for dessert! The cheesecake was yummy!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoy going to Graze. We enjoy going to Graze. The food is distinctive, beautifully presented, and the service superb. The menu provides significant variety and choice, and usually contains some unusual items. The noise level is a little higher than we prefer, but the tables are spaced far enough apart to help off-set this. The noise level is due to the ceiling in the dining room that does not muffle sound.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWe LOVE Graze! So wonderful! We LOVE Graze! So wonderful! The food is always new and different. Great ingredients and so tasty! Will go back again for sure.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMPhenonominal!!I don't usually fill out surveys like this but I was so completely satisfied and happy with this restaurant I felt I needed to.
Starting with the atmosphere, it was exactly what I wanted for my date- quiet, romantic, lighting...perfect.
Our hostess was very polite and our waitress was absolutely perfect. She checked on us occasionally but not too much and she just seemed to know exactly when to come to the table.
The meal I ordered was phenonominal! It was a nice portion and was literally the best meal I've ever eaten! I have never eaten at a restaurant that makes me want to go back the next day until now!
I will highly recommend Graze to everyone and can't wait until my parents come back to town so I can take them!!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI have eaten at Graze severalI have eaten at Graze several times and it is always consistently fantastic. Will return and recommend others to go. The waitress was knowledgeable about both food and wine list.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great night withWe had a great night with good service for our party of eight. The calamari fingers are amazing as an appetizer to share and I loved my pasta special.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMNicely varied menu. At ourNicely varied menu. At our table for seven we had five different dishes. All were wonderful, but, surprisingly, the waffles and chicken was the big hit. So tender and an exciting taste combination.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe graze menu looked freshThe graze menu looked fresh and interesting online. It doesn't look like much from the outside in a strip mall, but once you enter it has a clean, modern, inviting ambiance. The menu items have fun twist from the usual fare like the tuna tataki served with wontons. It was an unexpectedly tasty combination. The graze salad was also delicious.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our favorites in Charleston/One of our favorites in Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area. Don't be antimidated by being in a shopping center. ZFood is very good and worthwhile.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Yet!I must admit that despite my friends urging, I have avoided this place because of the prejudicial thought that there cannot be a good restaurant in a strip mall. Has my opinion ever changed. From decor, to wait staff, to food - all the way through dessert - this has to have been one of my favorite meals yet. I highly, highly recommend you save room and finish the meal with the PB gelato dessert concoction. So worth every single calorie. I loved this place and look forward to going again!3/2/2013 12:00:00 AM
