We were a party of 5, and everyone enjoyed their selections. The serving portions were very generous. I had the grasing Paella, which was excellent - it had plenty of seafood & very flavorful. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Would definitely dine there again.

Made reservation here for my parents wedding anniversary. Mentioned anniversary when making reservation. My parents had a quiet table outside under the heat lamp. There was a sweet "happy anniversary" note on the table when they arrived and a basket of blankets were provided. My dad had the wild mushroom bisque and venison special and my mom had the fillet. Amazing night and in readable service!! They are already planning in coming back! Thank you to everyone at Graslings for making this a special night for my parents.

Seated at a table in the back next to a back door that was ajar pressing against my companion's back. Table not decorated for birthday as promised....not very apologetic when they were reminded (which I had done on Open Table and by phone prior to arrival). My salmon was overcooked. Sommelier was sweet. Waiter was sweet. Woman who sat us not so much.

Recommended by a friend but I will not be going back. We had four dining, and some of the entrees were not at the level we expected based on the recommendations. In fact the sirloin was not acceptable for any establishment. The abalone appetizer was outstanding and the early courses were OK in general. We ordered a split bottle of wine from their wine list and after some time were informed that they did not have it available. A second split was ordered, with the same result. To the restaurant's credit, they did provide a more expensive bottle at no increase in price, but by then much time had passed.

Food was very good. Entree portions too large. The service left a lot to be desired- the waiter was annoyed to answer questions regarding the menu. Ambiance could have been amazing, however due to lack of wait staff we got stuck in a little table in the corner which was disappointing since the ambiance was one if the things that drew us to the resturaunt in the first place. I would go back, however in the future I would speak up.

A very quant place on the inside with great service. A very friendly and helpful staff. We were celebrating and they put a card on the table with some stars. We really felt at home. The wine was really good and a lot to choose from. The food was ok if it was for $14 or $16 plate, it was just wasn't great for the price and definitely overpriced. The filet mignon needed salt/flavor, great cut with a butter knife but we expected more flavor. The Sole was good but not knock my socks off for $34. The tuna tartare was forgetful. Great selection of foods though. The dessert was great - chocolate creme brûlée definitely. It was a great night out but more of a dessert and drink stop than dinner in my opinion.

Took a long time for waiter to acknowledge us. Hard to understand his accent. One person ask for more bread to go with appetizer. Never got. Dinner food very good. After plates removed no offer of coffee or desert for a very long time - 15+ minutes estimate. Table behind us so loud we could barely talk. Very attractive place, but needed much better service to get a good rating. Many places to choose from in town.

Amazing food ruined by the condescending and overbearing service. The host ignored us for 10 minutes before acknowledging our reservation. He then acted like we should be thrilled that he had a table for us. That type of attitude was present through out the meal. Being from the Bay Area, I have had much better dining experiences

Sorry to say that my dinner was not great. We have eaten at Grasing's several times and this was the first not so great experience. We ordered the Scallops and the Sea Bass and the calamari appetizer. The appetizer was over cooked, cold and chewy. My Sea Bass was cooked perfect but the white beans were underdone, the mushrooms were tough, the bacon was like hard tack. My husband said his Scallops were wonderful. Wonderful was what I was expecting as well. I told the waiter that the beans were underdone (they were on my plate) and he did nothing. So, we don't have to spend our cash there again.

If you are looking for a romantic restaurant with excellent food, this is the place to go. The restaurant is charming and beautiful. The food and service were excellent. My husband orders duck frequently and he said that this was the best he has had. • I often ask myself why?
    GlennVIP
    Dined on 9/6/2014
Why do restaurants place tables in traffic lanes, next to bathrooms and kitchens? Why do restaurants seat more guests than they have wait staff to properly serve? Why do restaurants consider a table of four or six more important than a table of two? Why do so many restaurants have an excellent kitchen and chef while maintaining a front end (including management) that doesn't operate at the same level? These are just a few of the questions I asked myself after dining at Grasing's.

We are part time Pebble Beach residents and have just been to Grasings for the first time. What have we been waiting for!!! We had a certain Santa Lucia Pinot Noir in mind we wanted to try and our waiter Mike was quick to find it for us. He was a real pro and made our evening fun and engaging. The sea bass was fabulous, the rib eye good, the ambiance excellent! We are in our 50's, enjoy great food and casual upscale environment. This is the place! Our waiter was terrific and everything was delightful until after food was served. Hard time getting drink service and when one of the dinners wasn't right (steak overcooked) we got it replaced with tooooo rare. That one went back and we were offered a third steak. Not the waiters fault. He tried his very best. The Kitchen and Bar must have been short staffed.

From the greeting by the hostess to the good bye from the host, we felt welcome at Grasing's. We made a reservation for 2 days later as we exited this cozy gem--we needed another opportunity to try the many appealing offerings. I had the heirloom tomato & burrata salad, which was lovely with the balsamic reduction. My husband had the warm spinach salad which he thoroughly enjoyed. His filet was done perfectly; my only disappointment was that my Kansas City Steak was a little more than medium rare. But I did not send it back because it was still quite tasty. Looking forward to discovering more dishes and bring treated so kindly when we go back tonight.
