A word from Granville Room
The Donnelly Group’s flagship cocktail den is charming in design, yet has an edgy undertone that speaks to the neighborhood and history of Vancouver’s electric avenue. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by an eye-catching nine-foot-high red oak bar that is decorated with an assortment of antique seltzer bottles, classic novels and other assorted oddities.
The drinks are split between house creations, classic cocktails & their newest program–the cask strength project. Ask about their cocktails on tap & the hyper-chilled cocktail of the day. The storied drink selection developed by Joey Donnelly & Trevor Kallies is paired with a menu offering original twists on classic dishes like Cornish hen, Fois gras & miniature bacon & quail egg sandwiches all created by long serving Granville Room chef Kye Agrios.

  • Did not receive my reservation!

We got to The Granville Room, they informed us they did not receive the reservation, and we could only stay for an hour and half. The Granville room was booked for two large parties so we would half to leave by 8:30. So we didn't stay and went down a couple of doors to another restaurant. At least they were up front about the incoming party, but after making a selection and walking over to Granville the experience was very disappointing.

This little (?) restaurant, tucked away on bust Granville street was a great find. It was recommened by a friend who had said it was hardly used. They had been twice before and the place less than half full. Six of us went on Friday prior to a concert at 5:45 pm and we were the only ones there. By 6:30 the place was busting out of the walls. Packed to the hilt, lively and fun. Our poor waitress was run off her feet but kept her cool and was always fun. Menu is limited but very tasty and the wine/beer list is also limited but good choices.

Had a good time at The Granville Room. It was the Sunday before Christmas and was super quiet! I had a party of about 10 - 15 people for my birthday and we were the only people in there except another couple. The service was not great. I had booked through Open Table and let them know I would have a party in but there wasn't even a server on until halfway through our time there. The bartender was nice enough but it took way to long for our drinks considering how many tales were in the place.. just two. The server seemed like she was in her own little world. The food was great! It just bar/comfort food but its good! I had the duck poutine and it was great!
