  • "Not much actual cooking actually going on -- they simply re-heat things. Unfortunately the microwave is the most used appliance. More importantly, the kitchen staff's hygienic practices were borderline nasty... cooks kept touching hair, face, and nibbling on food without washing their hands at all."

  • "We decided to try this place because we found a groupon deal. We were not happy with the experience at all. When we arrived for our reservation, the guy asked us (after sizing us up) if we were "coupon holders", we said yes and then he brought us all the way to the back of the restaurant - he also told us that we had to be done by 8pm (started at 6:15) because other reservations were coming in at that time. The waiter (also the guy that seated us), made us feel like we were cheapskates and when I spoke to him in English, he made little accommodating effort - then he gave us a different waiter. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary and took too long to get. I wouldn't go back. Even with the coupon, we spent close to $70."

My friends and I loved it and will definitly go back...the salmon tartare is amazing!! Also the cheese selection is great as well as the beef tartare and the mac and cheese.   • "La Grange Resto review: AWESOME! the food is really delicious. Seriously. Go there if you like eating amazing food. Plus the atmosphere is nice and the booths are comfortable! All off the food we tried was delicious! I would definitely go again. What did I eat? Melon gazpacho, Beef Tartare with cognac, Lobster Salad (worth it! Cold lobster served with roquette, fennel, oranges, grapefruits, + the spring roll), The short rib (It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. WOW!!!!!!) For dessert, the pudding chomeur, the house specialty, and the pistachio-nut sorbet which they called Nougat, which was fantastic. All was fantastic! Maybe a bit pricey (25-35$ for a main) but soooooooo worth it!"

We LOVED the ambiance, beautiful looking & simple structured restaurant. we loved the "open" kitchen concept. the service was awesome. Our waiter (i cant remember his name) was very helpful, friendly and knew exactly what to recommend. we went as an anniversary date, we each had a tartare to start (myself salmon, and my fiance beef) they were both out of this world.we then had the baby back ribs and polenta & cabbage as a main, DELICIOUS isn't enough to describe the taste & flavours. we LOVE IT! for dessert, i had the creme caramel (not my favourite.. but that is just my personal taste) and my fiancé had pudding chomeur.. that was so yummy! the price is very reasonable"

  • "Very cold even with the heat on during winter, extreme prejudice by adding 15% service charge for 2 persons without informing us before. Did not ask us if everything was okay during our meal ( no quality check). Casual smart dress code but most customers in blue jeans and also the servers wearing jeans. The lady manager which also our server told us tough luck using tuango coupons because you should have used it 4 months earlier and we told her it was imposible to book a place for the final month of promotion. She did not honor our voucher. Tuango later told us the restaurant will extend the deadline of the promotion."

The ambiance is very good and it is a very relaxed place. The food however was not spectacular. We took the scallops and foie gras for the appetizers. The scallops were ok, the fois gras was good. As the main dish, we took the salmon tartar. It is mixed with roasted pecan and I thought it was original (although my wife did not like it so much). For the desert, we took the sweet and sour caramel pouding with popcorn which was interesting and the brownies which were very good as well but a bit too sweet."

  • "I went to the restaurant on a Saturday night with my boyfriend with a Tuango coupon. I noticed that they have placed all couples with coupons in the same spot (facing the kitchen). However, our waitress was very nice and explained to us clearly with all our choices. We ordered: Hot oyster trio, Foie Gras torchon (so smooth), baby back ribs (juicy and tender) and duck duo salad (loved the popped vinaigrette and delicious gnocchi but meat a bit overcooked). Everything was well prepared and the portion was huge!! The service was not fast but we didn't mind taking our time to enjoy our date. One of the down side was the place was way too warm that we need to constantly drink water!!"

Ils ne devrait pas utiliser ce services si c'est pour dévaluer la réservation des clients. L'accueil et le service sont vraiment à revoir : les employées nous regardent de haut. Après m'avoir obstiné pour avoir une table (comme j'avais réservé!)la serveuse à l'air hautaine est venue nous servir avec un air de je m'en foutisme flagrant! Certains choix au menu n'était pas disponible! Nous avions un coupon Tuango et malgré cela ça nous a coûté 51 $ : il inclus le pourboire sur la facture. J'ai reçu un mauvais service donc je ne devrais pas payer un pouboire si élevé."

  • "The restaurant is very warm and inviting, so is the food. Interesting menu and wine selection. The neighbourhood is beautiful, the restaurant is well located for guests to go for a walk after or before the meal. The service was a bit shaky.. It was the waiter's first week working there, he wasn't the most professional. The overall experience was amazing though. The restaurant is divided so the noise level stays moderate even though there are lots of tables. I recommend this place."
