Grand met is a great find in
Terminal D at Grand Hyatt. It isn't inexpensive but great service, good food choices made up the difference."

The food was very good but it was
too expensive. I have dined at several of DFW's finer steakhouses and I was surprised to see that steak prices at the Grand Met were more expensive than some of the higher end steakhouses in Dallas, I probably will not return to eat again because I had an appetizer, one glass of wine and dessert and my bill was almost $50 - no steak and it was still $50. Way too expensive. My appetizer was a little shaved Italian ham and 3 small pieces of toast - I could have made the same quality "snack" for a couple of dollars using ingredients from Whole Foods. My server Louis was very attentive and friendly!"

Its a very nice place. Took my
wife there on Valentines days (bc it was the only place i could find a last minute reservation). The food was very good, my wife says it was one of the best steaks she has had. The wine bar is nice. This place is located in in the airport so its kinda random ambiance. The restaurant part is nice and romantic but it is fairly open and their really isn't anything separating the bar from the restaurant. Food is very good tho, i recommend this place for a date."

My parents were visiting for
Thanksgiving, and we ate at the Grand Met the night before they left. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. You could point at the menu blindfolded and have a great meal."

The Grand Met was a really great
experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I went for breakfast to meet my friends who had a layover in Dallas, Tx. It was easy for them to get to the restaurant from Gate C and easy for me coming from Ft. Worth. I would definitely go there again and enjoy a great experience."

The food was very overpriced for
was you received. Most breakfast entrees were $16.00, and included nothing. Example, pancakes, all you received wad the pancakes, no meat, etc., same with the eggs. Breakfast for 3 with tip, $100.00."

The Grand Met was a pleasant
surprise for our group of six who were meeting at the Grand Hyatt DFW Airport. I imagine that the restaurant caters only to guests at the hotel, but the food and service were exceptional for an airport hotel restaurant. Several of us got the sea bass which was fresh and beautifully prepared. The rest of the group enjoyed their meals as well. The view is of the DFW airport runways, but if you are into planes, you'll love it!"

The Grand Hyatt is a wonderful
hotel and I expected the same from the Grand Met. Nothing very grand. Location just off the bar which seems to double as a sports bar with LOTS of football and baseball fans of all stripes. Not that there is anything wrong with that at all but with such a dignified name my husband and I were hoping for a refined setting that would allow us to have a serious business dinner with a contact from the area. Food was not bad but nothing that would make me take notice. Service was ok but on two occasions the wait staff really barged up to the table and immediately interrupted our serious conversation to provide irrelevant information. Overall it was just a mediocre experience."

An interesting dichotomy of a
restaurant. One of the best and friendliest staffs in Dallas; thanks to Courtney, Luis, Mattie, and Chase. Brand new million dollar remodel; the decor is lovely, even if removing two of the previous three TV screens at the bar is a curious decision in sports-crazy Texas. Returned my Corn Soup twice- watery consistency and no taste at all. My wife loved her pasta and shrimp. The snapper entree was tasty, but at $38 for a 7-oz. portion, it should have been spectacular. Cheesecake was average and a bargain here at $9. The restaurant seems to know it has a captive audience at DFW Airport and takes full advantage of that. Valet parking, previously complimentary, now carries a hefty fee."
