Grand MetThe design of this restaurantThe design of this restaurant is interesting. It's pretty, but it still feels airportish.
First the food. We both order the shecrab salad. Very good. If you're not a seafood lover, this is not the salad for you. We both thought it was outstanding. For dinner we each had the Seabass. Also, extremely good. One of the better seabass dishes I've had in sometime. The fish was velvety and buttery...amazing.
Drinks. This is where the sticker shock came into place. We each had two drinks totaling 3 cosmos, and 1 glass of prosecco. Each drink was $16.50!
Our server was decent. Our bill was screwed up as I watched the bill show up three separate and amounts on my credit card statement. Took a week for that to work itself out.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMChef Plihon and continue to amaze.I live in Dallas and fly in and out of DFW several times a week, and yet the Grand Met has my wife and I coming back to the airport just to eat here. A sophisticated gem hidden in an unlikely place - "plane" sight! It's also a great place for business meetings over a meal, when my client is flying through DFW on their way to somewhere else.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
