  • "Far exceeded expectations!!! The food was really great, very tasty and well prepared. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is nice to go to a restaurant and have the staff show appreciation that you came to their restaurant. I would make it a point to go back there next time I am in OKC."

  • "First time dining at Grand House I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was quite tasty. Only one minor comment, I was only 1/2 done with my appetizer when the entree was served and it cooled as I finished the app. Planning on returning."

  • "Grand House China Bistro - total disappointment. No ambience at all, the food fair. It is kid friendly, parents can allow their kids to run around the restaurant and make noise without restraint or warning from the staff. 3 little kids running around my table but I could still watch the world cup on the 2 large screens over the sushi bar. The soup was okay, the spare ribs - no flavor, none of the great mixed spices. I could have gotten them slathered in sweet and sour sauce (I asked for it on the side). The mixed seafood dish, my biggest complaint. Crab should be from crabs, not immitation crab shapes and the 3 shrimp were so overcooked they had lost any flavor. The brown sauce, tasteless. Waste of time! Staff watching tv at 8pm"

  • "Yes you can get good dim sum in Oklahoma. Grand House is the place and has been a well run establishment for many years and the quality of it's dishes hasn't diminished over time. Sunday's at Grand House are very packed so if you want to get in, get there early or better yet book a reservation using OpenTable."

  • "I brought my husband in for his birthday, mentioned on Open Table reservation. There was nothing mentioned when we got there (had other restaurants mention it in the past from OT reservations). The menus were dirty and sticky. The food was on the caliber of delivery chinese and nothing remarkable could be said about the service."

  • "The food has always been excellent as has the service. A great place for a quiet dinner."

  • "We go here almost exclusively for the weekend Dim Sum. It is stellar and as good as I have had outside of Hong Kong. The service was pretty good this time as it can be inconsistent."

  • "We are never disappointed when we make reservations at Grand House, the food is always tasty and the sushi is artfully prepared."

  • "Food was mediocre at best. Service was okay, place needs new decor."

  • "We live in the area and have always noticed that the restaurant is usually busy. We thought we would check it out. We ordered two appetizers (the Edamame and the Egg Rolls). Both were simple starters and very good. For dinner we had the California Deluxe (sushi) and the Sesame Chicken. The sushi was okay as was the chicken, however the chicken was a little to greasy for my taste. Besides the rice, the Sesame Chicken comes all by itself so you may wish to order a side dish."

  • "We took two 14 year-old boys from Korea that were staying with us and they loved the Devilishous roll. We always enjoy our outings to Grand House. The owner and wait staff are always very hospitable."

  • "Food was poor qaulity. Tables and flatware reminded me of McDonalds. One dish was so bad we couldn't even eat it. Told our server, and her response was "Oh, ok". Do not recommend!"

  • "Had a great time at the Grand House for our Christmas Eve Dinner. We've eaten here before, so we knew we were going to get great food. Highly recommend the Grand House for a special evening."

  • "Great, place to go when you just want good basic Chinese!"

  • "My wife and I have eaten many times at Grand House, on all occasions the food and service have been good, some nights very good. They seem to have a revolving door of waiters and waitresses, this might be expected in the food industry and at a location that is more a neighborhood spot than an upscale fine dining establishment. However, the revolving door doesn't give the service staff much time to learn great service skills. One such area that could use some emphasis is managing customers on a busy night. This skill is acquired through experience, not through direction or over-the-shoulder observation."

  • "The food and atmosphere was what made the trip from Lawton worth it. Excellent food, authentic taste, and a nice quiet atmosphere. The server's special touch regarding the birthday treat put it all over the top."

  • "Excellent food, great service, great price. One of my favorite restaurants"

  • "A co-worker told me to come for sushi here and I was skeptical, but turns out it is legit. Fish is fresh and the portions are good. We got the Duo Boat and it was humongous, not cheap at $40, but easily serves 2 if not more. They are also generous with the pickled ginger and wasabi. I don't know if it's the best sushi joint in OKC because I just moved here, but until I hear of a better place, Grand House did not disappoint."

  • "My husband and I love dropping by Grand House before attending the theatre. The service is dependably fast , and the food is excellent at a reasonable cost."

  • "Best dim sum around!!! Absolutely my favorite restaurant in the metro area!!! Sundays are the best day to go because of the dim sum."

  • "We had a terrible experience at this restraunt. The chicken was so thin and rubbery, that I thought maybe it was uncooked chicken skin. The sushi, while passable, was not at all premium. The spicy tuna roll was a minced tuna, instead of a nice fresh piece. Several dishes on the menu did not include some of the ingredients such as mushrooms and sprouts. However, they were in the dish when presented. The waiter said that the menu was wrong, but that it is expensive to get them reprinted. The noodles were fine. However I was extremely disappointed."

  • "The Grand House has great dim sum on weekends. The food is fantastic. Be sure to make a reservation because it gets crowded. On friday nights they have live jazz and dancing. It's one of the few Asian restaurants with a full bar."

  • "Great sushi rolls, and all the basic Chinese food offerings. Friday night live music is good."

  • "We were looking for a good traditional Chinese option in the area, and we found it. We started our meal with various appetizers. The egg rolls were homemade and outstanding. The BBQ spareribs were beyond compare, and the potstickers were some of the best I have ever eaten. The hot and sour soup was a 10. We were then served the entrees. The Thai basil chicken was delicious. We also had the Szechuan beef and pork fried rice which were both far above average. Overall the meal exceeded my expectations. We walked in at 10:30 (30 min before closing) and the staff was still very attentive and the service was excellent. They also have a Dim Sum option for lunch/brunch on the weekends. If you're in the area, and are in the mood for Chinese try it!!"

  • "Went to Grand House for dinner and had a special treat. They had live music starting a 7 pm and a dance floor. We went a little too early but next time we're going for dinner and the music. The food was fantastic the service outstanding. I highly recommend it for a couple of a small group."

  • "We had the multi-course Valentine Dinner. Will order a chicken entree next time rather than the seafood. Appetizers & Desserts were very good."

  • "We enjoyed many of the Dim Sum that we tried and thought the hot tea was delicious! The Special show was also very well done for the holiday!"

  • "The food was average I went here because of the oints from open table. I had seen good reviews about this place and decided to hive it a chance. Honestly.... Big mistake. Bland flavours. Unremarkable wonton soup and egg drop soup. Umremarcable sushi. The only good thing was service... It was good. I would save my money or would just go across the street to Golden Phoenix, cheaper and way better."

  • "We went to Grand Housen for dinner with a group of seven on New Years Eve. The sushi was very good. About as good as anywhere in OKC. The entrees had good flavor. Service was very accommodating and friendly. Grand House is known for their weekend Dim Sum, but it's good for dinner any night of the week."

  • "Food and service was excellent. Tried the Thai basil chicken, this is my new favorite. Will order this again and invite others to try. Even though the menu lists it as very spicy you can ask for it how you like it; mild, medium, spicy, or extra spicy. Have it your way. Enjoy"
