The food was delicious - the rack of lamb was the best ever and my filet mignon was delicious and I could cut it with a table knife. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff were excellent. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! The Ambiance is romantic, splendid, classic - a return to a finer, gilded age. Breakfast was superb, the Sunday brunch was absolutely the best brunch that I can remember attending in over 20 years! The tables were perfectly appointed & every classic dish that one would expect in a "real" brunch was on display & more.
We so appreciated the grand effort of their pastry chef & staff to create the most gorgeous & delicious anniversary cake in the world & our most recent dining experience was topped off by the most creative dark chocolate mousse sea turtle dessert! The restaurant provided the proper setting for our celebration. The menu had some thing for every ones taste. My only complaint is that our table was a two top located right next to a column. I looked around and there were several 4 top tables with couples sitting at them and I think we should have been afforded the same courtesy. Not only that but with all the open tables why seat people right on top of each other. One member of our party dropped an expensive laser pointer and our server found it after we had left. They called us to let us know they had it and we could pick it up at our convenience. Nice to know there are honest people in the world and a restaurant will go out of it's way for the customer even after the bill has been paid.
