"The restaurant is beautiful and does feel like a European cafe. The menu is somewhat limited and the food quality is okay but not great. The butter lettuce salad I ordered was supposed to come with "seasonal vegetables". Sounded intriguing. Instead it had a few slices of radish and a few slices of hearts of palm. Very boring and uninspired. The breast of duck was very good and fortunately not too fatty. My husband's trout was bland and nothing special. I guess for the prices they charge, my expectations were much higher that the food would be great! It wasn't."

"Very pleasantly surprised. the food was very seasonal, with nettles sauce for the herb gnocci (very tender) and fava beans on several items. The spring cassoulet was fabulous. the chef did a great job of bringing fresh, seasonal foods and great choices."

"Beautiful and historic venue in what was once the hotel ballroom, the Grand was just that. French onion soup above average and the steak frites was well prepared. Excellent and attentive service who was very accommodating when we asked to move to a bigger table for a later arriving guest. We'll be back!"
