Diner Reviews
  • "Grace has a New York City vibe. Outstanding food, a well thought wine list with fair pricing. Very attentive waitstaff. We have moved Grace to the top of our list for an enjoyable dinner out in Fort Worth."

  • "Lovely meal and service was very good. Nice table with views out."

  • "It was Monday night so it was very empty. But that was the plan. Had plenty of attentive staff and they were warm engaging and sweet. Food is usual great but tonight it was served cooler than expected. Had the serving temp been spot on the food would have been outstanding."

  • "I've made it a point to stop at Grace any time I'm visiting Ft. Worth and it always satisfies and makes the trip from Austin worth it. The bar has an excellent whiskey selection and there is also a very well rounded beer selection. The appetizers were excellent in both flavor and presentation (sausage and the bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed figs). The toad in a hole salad is a must with the poached egg in brioche. The ribeye was excellent, and the lamb stole the show. The service was so good that the GM went to a convenience store to pick up some chapstick for me because I was out. An excellent experience overall."

  • "The service was very very poor. This was our first time at this restaurant and we didn't know what was best to order. When we arrived we were sited for 3 minutes before our server came to introduce herself. When she arrived didn't ask us whether this was our first time here, like what normally happen at most fine dining restaurant. She didn't suggest anything on the menu. She didn't have a pen to take our order. Was always in a rush when she came to our tables. We requested wine and she forgotten about it. Our meal took 45 minutes to come to the table. I would not go back to this restaurant because of the service. When you are spending that kind of money on food you want excellent service"

  • "The waitress Kara was amazing! Personable and funny - she kept the evening exciting! The oysters were too small but the beet salad, Parpadelle with lobster, huge pork chop and scallops on potato pancakes were all a treat for the taste buds! We will be back!"

  • "Although pricey, every bite was delicious. We can rave about the duck, scallops, steak tartare, and soup! Also great service!"

  • "She had food recommendations for all palates, great service and always available if we needed anything. Extensive wine list, suitable for all budgets. We had the fried oysters for an appetizer which were delicious-- also their signature scallop dish was amazing - great flavors, fresh tender scallops and plenty of food. My hubby had the Paella which was a sizeable dish with lots of good seafood throughout. We did feel the rice in his dish was lacking some flavor and a little on the gummy side -- could have used some "kick" or more spices. Make sure and let them know if you are going for a birthday -- they provide a free dessert of your choice! Would recommend if you are in DT Ft Worth! We had a rez for 7:30 and sat right away."

  • "I've always enjoyed trying new restaurants and discovering new chefs but every time I go to Fort Worth and want to truly experience fine dining I always end up at Grace. It manages to bridge the excellence of classic dining with a new edgy twist. The dining room is tasteful and quiet. The dishes are innovative takes with classic ingredients. The wine list and bar are expansive and excellent. I know Fort Worth is growing in its restaurant selections but me, I will keep returning to Grace."

  • "Food was to die for, service was impeccable, atmosphere was fantastic! You have to get the salad with the fried egg on top... every bite is different and mouthwateringly amazing. The filet oscar is best I've ever had. everything was just amazing, Grace! Well done! VERY well done!"

  • "In my humble opinion, this is one, if not the best restaurant in Fort Worth. Everything is top shelf from the car valet, to the front desk, to the kitchen and wait staff, and the sommelier. Just outstanding. An inventive menu, consistently delivered with exceptional quality. With bottle wine and tip you should expect to drop $100+ per person, so it's not a place you'd go every week, but for a special occasion, I don't think it can be beat. It's not a place for young kids."

  • "Impeccable food and service. My husband and I enjoyed dining here. I ordered the Diver Scsllops and my husband ordered the rack of lamb. We also ordered the Snow crab claws. All were wonderful! They also have a great wine list."

  • "The atmosphere is modern and upscale, but not overly stuffy. The service we had was very good and attentive throughout the evening. We were not fans of many of the starters on the menu, but the salumi plate did please very well. More mustard seed garnish to accompny the meats would make this a much better choice as tge meats are a bit rich on their own. The entree selections are pretty basic for this caliber of restaurant, but they are done very well. We both had the filet, and they were cooked perfectly to order. Sadly, dessert was a complete miss. The smores in a jar is underwhelming to say the least. But overall, a very good place to dine upscale and to enjoy a nice evening."

  • "We celebrated a special birthday and had a marvelous experience. Three of our party had steaks which were "melt in your mouth" tender and perfectly cooked. One had the scallops which were also perfectly prepared. We had sides of asparagus and brussels sprouts to share among the four of us. Both were perfectly prepared. The wine list was extensive and the staff recommended perfect wines for our food choices. Our waitperson was attentive but not intrusive. My only complaint was the noise level. The restaurant is a large room which made hearing the guests across the table difficult. "Energetic" is not the noise level I prefer when experiencing such fine dining."

  • "Service was outstanding; ambience very good and the noise level moderate. The dinner wine, appetizer, salads and dessert were excellent, however my wife and I were disappointed in the entrees we chose."

  • "Our purpose for dining there was to interview a potential candidate we were considering for hire. I used their online reservation service and requested a private room. The room requested was granted and the restaurant called me to let me know which I thought was a nice touch. The restaurant decor was clean and modern. The service was excellent. The servers were attentive but not overly "hovering." We had a guest in our party who had special dietary needs. His requests were accommodated graciously. Our dining experience was fantastic. I will eat there again."

  • "It was our 18th wedding anniversary. Food was amazing. Service was solid. They made it memorable with a complimentary dessert...Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake. It was fantastic."

  • "It was my husband's birthday and he has mentioned Grace several times in passing so I chose it as a surprise. He works in the restaurant business and is a major foodie/wino and is VERY particular. Grace did not disappoint. They picked a perfect, quiet table for us to celebrate and it was very cozy and romantic. The server was perfect, very knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered the fried oysters (YUM!), soups and salads, and the Halibut special and Scallops for our entrees with a lovely bottle of wine that paired perfectly. To finish the meal, they brought out a chocolate dessert on the house which was a perfect way to end the evening. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so special!!!"

  • "It had been a while since I've been to Grace and probably will not return. The food was good, but average for high end restaurant. Service was terrible, our server took a long time to come to our table and his excuse was he was taken care of 3 tables. He seemed rushed and not very friendly. He didn't make us feel welcomed."

  • "Grace never disappoints, they always make us feel special and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the beef tartare and toad in a hole."

  • "I was in from out of town and decided to treat myself to the Fort Worth Symphony and a good meal. Grace has a knowledgeable, attentive waitstaff, an interesting wine list and wonderful cuisine. I especially loved the wild arugula salad studded with crispy chucken skin. And the butterscotch pudding with salted caramel was a swell end to my meal (the market fish, which was perfectly cooked). I will return when I'm next in town. (The symphony was very good, too!)"

  • "This was our first visit. I have to say the service was wonderful, well timed and friendly. We loved some of the food and didn't love some of the dishes but not because they weren't good but just not to our liking. The tartar was fresh but lacked flavor, it wasn't your typical tartar. Unfortunately the vegetable sides were all pretty rich. I also would like to see more things without bacon in it. I don't eat red meat, but thats just me which is why I still gave the food a high rating. My husband said the lamb chops melted in his mouth and my scallops were wonderful. Great experience and I would certainly return and recommend it."

  • "The food was fantastic (as always). Steak prepared flawlessly, yummy sides and unbelievable dessert. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped onions, butterscotch pudding and of course the pear martini. The most memorable part of the evening was when my boyfriend proposed - I will always remember that great night at Grace when we got engaged."

  • "Adam, the owner, greeted and seated us. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgable about the menu and wines. I liked not having a set menu. I had the best Colorado Rack of Lamb I've ever had! All of our selections were delicious. We were all very satisfied and will return again."

  • "Really, really good food with consistent high quality, from appetizer to dessert. It is also quite expensive and every little side dish or topping is extra, and not by a little. Wanted to try every dish on the menu. Enormous wine list. Upscale clientele and ambiance."

  • "Grace was recommended by a friend. After looking at the menu I was not real sure, it seemed some what limited as I am a meat and potatoes guy. There was only a couple cuts of meat so I just was not sure. I expected it to be a little what I like to call foo foo. Meaning small portions of stuff I do not like to eat and things on the menu that I do not recognize. Let me just say that was probably the best ribeye I have ever had. There were four of us and the food was all excellent. The staff was also great making the overall experience superb. Wish I lived closer I would be a regular."

  • "Another special dinner at Grace. Starting with the cordial greeting at the door, everything was memorable. The ambiance is modern, yet comfortable. Service is friendly with attention to every detail. The Toad in the Hole salad is a must---truffle oil dressing on frisee greens topped with a ring of toasted brioche, with a perfectly poached egg in the center. When that warm yolk spreads over the salad, the fragrant dressing smells divine. We skipped our usual wonderful steak choice for more adventurous entrees. The lobster papardelli was rich and wonderful, with plenty of lobster. The Kobe beef pot roast was melt-in-your-mouth good. Top it off with the ice cream/liqueur "martini" for a perfect ending. We will be back. And back."

  • "We had an early Valentine's dinner on Thursday Feb 13th. Very comfortable spot. Excellent service. Portions are generous to say the least. Prime Tenderloin Tartar was at least 6 oz of moist tenderloin with a soft boiled egg on top. Plenty to share. Half dozen fried oysters were crisp and tasty with a delicious butter sauce. My beet salad combined cold beet chunks, burrata and orange slices with endive. I loved it. Try the Diver Scallops, you won't regret it. 4 scallops set on a delicious butter cake with a caviar butter sauce. The wife's Paella was enough for two people. Maybe you should share that entree. It was fabulous. Portions are large for a "foodie" place. A definite value, but order accordingly. Good wine list. Highly recommend."

  • "My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th anniversary dinner at Grace. When we arrived, they greeted us warmly and congratulated us on the event. When we were seated at our table, they unexpectedly brought us a glass of champagne to celebrate. Every staff person seemed to know that it was our anniversary and made sure that our evening was memorable. Even the owner, Adam Jones, stopped by to meet us and wish us well. The sommelier suggested a great Pinot Noir (2011 Zepaltas) that we enjoyed with our meal, which was well prepared and delicious. All in all, it was a great evening and we are certain to return to this restaurant often."
