We do not accept reservations for Sunday Brunch. Seating is first come first served.

An Amelia Island icon, GG's Bistro has long been regarded as having the best cuisine on Amelia Island. Our menu mixes elements of haute cuisine with elements of comfort food. We serve brunch and lunch everyday. In the evening the restaurant transforms into an intimate space for fine dining, many nights with live music. The outdoor patio is ideal for fans of al fresco dining and is pet friendly.

  • "Definitely try the Mediterranean salad for an intense flavor sensation. Grape tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, red onion, olives, capers and fresh mozzarella with an olive oil drizzle. We followed that up with the fresh local fish special which was grouper. Seared crisp on one side and served with lemon basil risotto and baby vegetables. The little sunburst squash were a really nice touch. Great selection of wines, both affordable by the glass and a by the bottle selection that you don't usually see in a neighborhood bistro."

  • "Our fourth visit - all have been excellent. We usually choose Chef's Specials but tonight we had the GGs Shrimp Bake and Shrimp/Lobster Pasta off the menu. Both were DELIGHTFUL paired with a Fume Blanc and a window seat. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner when you want fine dining at a reasonable price. An Amelia Island treasure!"

  • "We found this gem almost by accident and we are so glad we dheid. The food was absolutely wonderful (the scallops were better than The Olde Pink House in Savannah), the wine suggested by our server was fabulous, the service could not have been better, and the ambience was great. The chef came out to speak with us twice, which was out of the ordinary. If I had to find something wrong it would be that it was slightly warm in the restaurant, but that was really nothing to complain about. Overall this was our best experience during our week at Amelia Island and we tried a lot of places."

  • "Cute dining room, but a/c not working. "New" chef may not have found his footing. Oysters Rockefeller tasteless. Some food overly salty, some needed salt. No shaker on table. Waitress and kitchen indicated dish could be prepared to accomodate a medical need.. They tried,sent back once. Was able to pick out seafood and eat that, but I was still unable to eat the pasta/sauce. Instead of appologizing waitress insisted that I should have been able to eat it because it was fine. other than that service was acceptable and prompt."

  • "Our group of 4 from out of town ordered a bottle of Pinot Gregio on a Friday night. The wine list was very limited. The wine was not available and no option ws suggested. When we noticed another Pinot Gregio was on the list, we were told it was not chilled. WE had to suggest that they chill it. That worked, but why did WE have to ask? The server was ok, but not what we expected at a fine dining establishment. Fortunately, we food ws very good! Give this place a chance, but they need to become more helpful/friendly to their customers."

  • "I am a local and I pass this restaurant when I ride the Amelia Island portion of the East Coast Greenway. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and now I'm curious about their other meals; I had dinner but they also have lunch and brunch on the weekends. It was a little pricey but still worth the visit. I will definitely go back and have already recommended to a friend. If the weather is nice, they have a nice patio that is pet-friendly. It was rainy and wet when I was there."

And gthe prices were very good. The only thing keeping it from a perfect rating was that it was a little too hot and humid inside.   • "Cute place nestled under trees and set just off A1A close enough to be convenient, but far enough back that you don't notice the highway when dining al fresco on their beautiful patio. You feel like you are dining in nature. The food was simply delicious. I had the jerk seasoned pork tenderloin with apple pear chutney. It was seasoned with just the right amount of heat with layers of flavors coming through. My wife had the local seafood special, which was a stripped bass in a very simple salt and pepper preparation and a lemon beurre blanc sauce. Also delicious. We took the owners recommendation and selected an Argentinian Cabernet that he was featuring. For just $45 it compared well to any Napa Cab. Excellent selection. "

  • "Surprisingly, we decided on a non-seafood meal for a night once we saw the menu. The foie gras was divine. The pear/grape/balsamic reduction was delish. If someone were uncertain about trying foie gras, this would convert him. Pork tenderloin is not a favorite to order out, but was also a great choice. Very moist. Perfect apple relish. The meatballs were my favorite. Huge, rich, and savory. We left fat and happy and eager to write a review. Friendly owners and eager staff. Came back to get a lunch to go. $10 sandwich will feed two. The Reuben was piled high and had no thousand island, but thankfully a yummy remoulade. I Would love to work my way around the menu...."

  • "My husband and I tried this place for brunch on a Saturday morning. I had the Croque Madame which was delicious and I highly recommend it. My husband had the Rare Roast Beef and Boursin on a Pretzel Roll, also delicious. Service was decentx our Server was polite and checked in on us as was expected. The prices are fair, however coffee is almost $3 which I thought was a but high for just run of the mil nothing special coffee. Other than that the experience was pleasant and I would go back. The food was delicious and lived up to and beyond the menu descriptions."
