Their staff and service was very friendly and quick to offer information on the food and the wine list. The food came in perfect timing and everything was spectacularly delicious. There was soup, salad, steak & lobster and salmon and everything was fantastic. The dress code was a little less than I had imagined "smart casual" would be but it certainly didn't take away from the experience. My partner and I both ordered a filet (Chicago-style) and it was perfection. Cajun spiced mushrooms, asparagus (just the right degree of crisp) and a baked potato rounded off the entrée. It was my birthday (mentioned very early in the evening) and our server remembered when it came time for dessert. Appertizer was good, but steak... kinda dried.
Had the big plate of Tbone and mignon.
Kinda chewy for mignon, and not much of meat flavour.
Very disappointed as I brought my mama for.mother's day.
I would say I can cook better mignon I buy from costco than spending money there.

The lunch menu was somewhat limited but adequate. One of the customers and i had one of the specials and it was fantastic. It was a shrimp with truffle ravioli. The presentation was superb and the customer (and I agree) said it was the best meal he had all week in Montreal. Two of our people had the fillet but it was overdone. Interesting to note that our guests commented that they were at Gothems for dinner and they had the same issue with their steak.

My $56 steak was overdone. Asked for medium rare and it was far closer to medium. If i was anywhere else...not a big deal...but because it was Gotham...A big disappointment.
