Because I live in midtown west, I tend to stay in this neighborhood, or head to the UWS. For convenience, we met here. Lunch could not have been better: great service, great food and great presentation. We had asked for a quiet area; we had business to discuss. The host granted us that request and we found it very easy to have a discussion. But it is not just me...EVERYONE is treated with respect and just the right amount of friendliness. The staff takes their cues from the guest. I was pleasantly surprised when it took me a few minutes to make my reservation via Open Table for the very night and time that I wanted. Wines were great. The sommelier was very helpful at first, but disappeared mid-meal when we were ready for our next selection; not sure what happened. Our waiter stepped into the breach so we did not miss much time.
Food was outstanding. The signature Miso Cod was worth the experience, but the sauce can be overwhelming. The wild bass with lemon ginger was OUTSTANDING, as were our appetizers.
