Gordon Ramsay at The London has been consistently awarded two stars from the prestigious Michelin guide. Fortunate guests have preferential access to the inner sanctum of this multi-million dollar kitchen when reserving the exclusive Chef's Table which seats up to eight guests for a eight course tasting menu and wine pairing. Gordon Ramsay at The London redefines the ultimate culinary experience. Jackets preferred; jeans, sneakers and sportswear are prohibited.

  • "too much white and the mirrors make it look like a 1980's wedding venue. way, way, way too quiet. i don't like noise levels, but when it's so quiet that one can't help but overhear other people's conversations that's too quiet. just a little background music would be good. too many dishes served raw. if want to eat raw stuff i go for sushi."

  • "We dined at the Gordon Ramsey on Feb15th. Because of the weather they were serving their Valentine''s Day pre-fixe 6 - course tasting menu. While each course was exceptional, we enjoyed the scallops and kobe beef most of all. The desserts were so plentiful we couldn't eat them all. Since it was my wife's birthday they also brought out a special dessert with a candle. The service was just as good at the meal. The staff was polished and professional and our front waiter Dan was outstanding. He was quite friendly and very knowledgeable. Towards the end of our meal my wife looked at me and said that she could not remember having a better meal anywhere. The Gordon Ramsey is not inexpensive but it is an extraordinary experience not to be missed ."

As we have grown to expect from Gordon, the food was amazing and the service was top shelf....visiting your kitchen with is always a treat and a great surprise to whomever we are dining with...the reaction is always " we are allowed int the kitchen? Followed by Wow you can eat off of the floor it's so clean!" So Thank You for maintaining excellence!"

  • "I booked this for our Wedding anniversary, considering its a Michelin Star rated venue and carries Gordon Ramseys name I was expecting a lot. ( We have eaten in several Michelin resturants). The venue was lovely, the service was great, the food was pleasing... but nothing was WOW ....except for the bill ( check) . I've eaten much better for much less in Michelin resturants in Europe. I can honestly say its the most expensive meal we have ever had, and for that price I expect "WOW with bells on". Sorry only thing I would recommend is saving your money an eating elsewhere."

  • "I went with by boyfriend for his birthday, when I was making the reservations online I made a special note to inform of the special occasion. We had the 3 course meal with the wine pairing for each meal, the food and wine were delicious. We felt very satisfied with the amount of food/wine we received. The service staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome. The ambiance was very high class rate, for a couple raised and bred in Queens we felt it to be very grand, it doesn't mean to say grand is bad, it was very exquisite. Myy boyfriend got a Birthday dessert with a candle :-) and we also got a tour of the Chef's table and kitchen area, we even got to take pictures. Overall memorable experience and highly recommend it."

One of the guest at our table did not have a napkin at his place setting, staff did not notice and after awhile of waiting had to ask for one. We all decided to have the three course meal. Though the food was good, the portions seem to be sized for the five course meal. If you are very hungry order the five courses. The desserts were just okay. It was strange to get assorted confections served to us after we ate dessert and offered another dessert to take home to enjoy later. Way too much sugar for adults to be eating. Overall, we all felt like we did not get the delicious meal and experience we had hope for. Would not go back."

The service was VERY attentive and the food was very good except for my wife's lobster, it was a little undercooked and although good, was not great. My venison was delicious and the scallops appetizer was also very good. The service was a 10+ and attention to detail was very high, but then again you expect these things with the prices you pay. I would return on special occasions, but not on a regular basis."

  • "The menu was what one would expect of a one star restaurant, substituting something we did not like on the menu prestige was no problem. Back home in The Netherlands we visit 2 to 3 Michelin Star restaurants a year, it is a night out for us. But here, between sitting down and leaving was 90 minutes. Maybe it is the American way of fast food at a high level but we did not like it. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and was quiet, unless the door to the bar was open. During our stay the door was open about a hour so you could clearly hear what happened in the bar. All in all good food and service, but to expensive for a one star."

The service was good although when I commented that I hadn't enjoyed one of the courses and indeed did not eat much of it, the waitress just smiled and shrugged her shoulders! Certain of the courses of the Five course taster menu were significantly lacking in flavour others were nice but not spectacular. The best bit was the 'Candy Trolley' they brought at the end!"

  • "Seriously over rated and overpriced. Food served in super tiny proportions, exclusivley presented but "nothing special" once you see past the presentation. General service was very good with a "ridiculous" ceremony about the whole thing.....but our main course took over 45 minutes to be served at the table! At the end of the night we were still hungry and with a very deep hole in our pockets! Very dissapointed. Won't be recommending it."

  • "With the new executive chef the magic is gone - the food is solid, but doesn't dance on the plates as it used to do. I thought that this was one of the best slightly under-the-radar restaurants in Manhattan - the food was creative, exhibiting perfect acidic balance and wonderful flavors and textures. Nothing wrong with our dinner but just think its a few notches down from the previous executive chef who is a genius. Service was good but not great - think the Michelin folks were right to pull two stars..."

  • "Compared to his Petrus Restaurant in London, UK, this is not what we expected at the London in NYC. Maybe our expectations were too high. No Beef Wellington! We had to ask for lemon slices for our water 3 times! Everything was a bit too salty. Had to be asked to have our water refilled. Ambience was not as nice as Petrus. I think Gordon Ramsay could do a lot better. We can't recommend going to this one but would die for to return to Petrus in Knightsbridge and have his Beef Wellington again!"
